I suspect that there's much more to the story that's not being told. In my opinion, illegal drugs were certainly involved. Problem with illegal drugs is that you don't usually include those details in the story. You need to get to the hospital for the wound and police will be involved since it's a gun shot wound. Incriminating details like illegal drugs aren't going to be brought up. Nothing to be gained by doing so.

Yeah it's kinda funny how it went from "how do we stop these men from exploiting these poor women" to "how do we get these men to pay?

I mean Amsterdam has always been pretty chill on this stuff, but it wasn't that long ago that they were trying to crack down on it.
