I've noticed that the two houses there seem pretty dark the last few times I've driven by at varying times of night.

I'm pretty sure you meant Iowa. Always wondered if that was a trap house. Seems to always be people milling around. Surprised those brick apartments just past Plum aren't a target. Half the time I think someone will walk in front of a car and get run over there.

Drove through the area yesterday around 1 pm. Saw two older, toothless skanks. One near Pear and the other near Memorial. Kept on trucking.
