Back in the day (late 90's early 2000's) you couldn't cut through that back exit from that shopping plaza (back then Publix was where Planet Fitness is and Walmart was the whole back end of that plaza) without getting flashed by hookers. They all lived on what is now New Hope Street which had a different name back then and was all trap houses. 42nd and some side roads that way were historically active also. Dried up 15 years ago or so.

I used to cruise here a few years ago, on my way to a job I'm doing here for a week, cruised the old streets. Around east myrtle / Vermont area, I think, I'm tired, 730 ish am, saw a black woman blonde short hair, walking up and down myrtle.
