Good Job JSO? I mean I think we can all agree operations that specifically target people looking for minors is kind of a good thing. Not that I enjoy seeing stings in my city but this is one type I can get behind.

    Laura

Anyone got any info on this one? Been texting back and forth. Comms are a little spotty but seem agreeable to most requests but has no reviews and she has changed her number 4 times in the past month which is a monster red flag. PM me is fine. Thanks nd stay safe out there.

    HB 197 - Massage Parlors.

House Bill 197 aims to combat human trafficking in the state that channels through illicit massage parlors.

Under the law, the state Department of Health would be required to issue an emergency suspension of a massage therapist or establishment's license if any employee at the business is arrested on charges related to kidnapping, human trafficking or prostitution.

In addition, the law will explicitly prohibit any kind of sexual activity within a massage business.

The law goes into effect on July 1.
I guess we better squeeze in some Orlando trips in while we can. Parlors may not go away but we might experience a rough fall since the stock market is looking to have a rough season coming up. That means plenty of new coverage and arrests to make it look like they're getting things done. Hopefully I'm wrong. Stay frosty out there.

If you've been assuming that Republicans are committed to protecting individual rights and freedom, you might want to recalibrate your assumptions in light of this, Florida law and a) the Texas law that makes "solicitation of prostitution" a felony offense and b) Trump's support of FOSTA and SESTA.

I'm not sure if there are any political parties that respect the rights of CONSENTING adults to engage in otherwise legal sexual activities.

Governor Desantis just signed a new anti-massage parlor law.

The Ramada on Baymeadows will be next. I was told there was a room broken into and a girl pistol whipped and sent to the ICU. Could be bullshit but it sounds legit. That place is a hole.

    Rich.

    Monger?

I just heard a news story on News4 Jax titled " JSO: MAN SHOT BY UNKNOWN SUSPECT WHILE VISITING WOMAN NEAR SOUTHPOINT AREA" and wondered if that was a monger that was involved. Wonder if a provider set him up.

One person ran for mayor stating to get rid of the houses, yes they were in houses not on the street corners. Shortly after he won they closed the houses and they had their first case of rape in 75 years. When asked the guy said the reason he did it was that they closed down the place he had been going to.
