So I stopped in at DD's hoping the new Florida Covoid-19 openings would have that place a little better. Only difference was that I didn't have to buy a $5 plate of chicken wings. Still no bar stools, and the lack of talent is amazing. I was there around 5 pm. I sat and chatted with Liz (she hadn't been there in 6 months, or so she says). I finally ask her if she wants to go do a dance, usually they are quick to ask you. She said sure, but you have to buy a $10 wrist band, then the dances are $25 each. She said with the wrist band, you can do dances all night with no more charge. I said F that. If it takes me longer than 3 dances, they you aren't doing your job, and she said, I understand. LOL. I drank my one beer and out the door I went. Damn I miss the old DD's.

Should be open anyday now. The Certificate of Occupancy was received this week. City was holding off for a year. I am sure this was due to politics and elections. Anyway see you there probably within the week.

If you like Latina's Dixies is the place to be. They have a new champagne room area which is a nice setup up.

I stopped at DDs weds around 6. Almost nothing going on, a hobo had his bicycle parked in there. Retirement home Pam Anderson came and talked to me, she had big bolt ons but her bellybutton was in her cleavage. After she left an aa girl named Star came over and talked me into taking her to the VIP, which is 150 now. I probably spent too much but Star was fn awesome.

Normal hours, or so I believe. I went there midweek at 2 PM and they were open, had to buy chicken wings to leave sitting in front of me so they can sell booze. Not a great lineup but Bella was there, like always.

Had a good evening at OB's in Deland. Beers, pool, live band and after I decided to swing by SoftTails to see if they were open. I wish I hadn't as I left not long after $26 dollars went up in smoke. I get how they are staying open, serving food, but this place has never been really good and at these prices and quality it was even less-gooder. I might be of a particular mindset but I quite enjoy Dixies so was hoping for a somewhat decent substitute in these trying times but I was sorely disappointed.

$20 cover.

$05 beer.

$10 wrist band (did not buy).

$30 dance / song (did not buy).

four girls with one still wearing a face mask but pulled down over the chin; why? Either wear it or don't for fucks sake.

two guys doing "security" and / or "manager" . The chill woman that ran it left a few years ago (my last visit was in 2018/2019 as I moved overseas).
