I have spent a considerable time in phx over the past year on a project and I must say that the quality and quantity in phx has really dropped considerably. I would say you see more prospective SWs in phx than in Tucson, but as a whole it has hit rock bottom.

Part of the problem in phx is that LE has taken an active stance in "cleaning" up the streets, thus far I would say they have really done a "good" job. Not so many months back you could really have your choice if you could turn around fast enough. Now, you see them far and few between and usually after you spot them, if you look around LE isn't too far away watching.

I was almost a casualty in a sting operation in phx some months back and posted in detail on that board about it. Since then, even when I have seen posts referring to a certain area, when I have gone there, it is usually covered with LE. I am not sure if other mongers have just been lucky or have not noticed LE around, but after the near miss with the sting, I am very alert to my surroundings. Seems that shortly after a post here, when I go there it is covered with LE, Coincidence???

I too have driven tucson from time to time only to come up empty handed. The areas that once were "busy" are now bare....not sure the real reason, I have not noticed a stepped up patrol of LE in Tucson, maybe it is happening when I am not around? Used to be craycroft and 22nd were fairly good pickings on the eastside, just not all that long ago.

I have seen posts about the speedway/alvernon/dodge/wilmot area, but I have never seen anything when I have driven that area, I guess it is luck of the draw.

I haven't trolled around in Phoenix, but the street scene in Tucson is totally awful, especially in the last year or so (it used to be better). In recent times, I've done a lot of driving around only to return home without having found anything. The SW's I see on the rare occaisions I do see them are horrific. Candy Store.

I have to agree with what seems to be a growing consensus on the board recently, that the Candy Store is the great underrated strip club of Tucson.
