Not trying to minimize the inconvenience you experienced but every monger has been through the same. Being ghosted upon arrival is certainly flaky, unprofessional, time-wasting behavior, but it's not really GPS. When a provider is asking a significantly higher price than her peers, or when she gets you all worked up and gives you the hard upsell for services that should be included in the session price, that's GPS.
