Sounds like a scam to me. Also, would caution against leaving an online trail of a fund transfer. And like gio mentioned, see what your instinct tells you.

My mojo became uneasy after texting to try to set something up since I was down that way Wednesday.

First, texted the day before asking if she was free when I was in town. No reply until almost 9 pm Wednesday. Wanted me to make a trip down in the middle of the night like right now. First time meet up in the middle of the night? Good way to get into various forms of trouble.
