Hey, the only reason I post stuff like that is to try to help and educate others. Not being argumentative, just firm in my convictions. I am constantly reminded by teacher friends: you can lead a horse to water, you can't make him drink. I'm trying to lead youse, and others (lurkers) to water: providing a different perspective as to what is "safe!" Apparently others agree from JRichard's post below.

But if your only criteria of safety is that you aren't going to get in a physical altercation between leaving your car and returning it, I think you are think too narrowly. I think about risk on a broader scale, ways to mitigate it and stay globally safe. You are doing things I just don't deem safe with my wider perspective.

Yes, what you stated about the RRI is correct, doing recon and not saying certain things keeps you out of jail in a sting situation. But that's not the point.

That photo monger dude is 70+ years old and him having 20-something girls coming and going at all times and then dudes visiting at all hours surely hasn't gone unnoticed. So the "risk" we are talking about is other than getting beat up after leaving your car or returning to it. If one can't understand the examples given, then they run the risk of some "experiential learning" which in many cases can be detrimental to work and family life. I mean the guys going to that Elkton hotel thought everything was "safe" because there were no thugs around to beat them up. It was certainly a "safe" location from that perspective. A silmilar surveillance happened in NJ recently and the door knocks haven't occurred yet because a girl was flipped for fent info.
