I go all the time. I was there last Saturday its on my way home. Its always solid service nothing over the top just a reliable tug place. There were several interruptions on this last vist but that's not normal here.

Nowadays, reviews are everywhere, and the ads are very aggressive. If the MMS has been there since opening or a very long time and does not recognize you, that could be a red flag.

So yes, it has been the standard, as well as behavior like full nude on table, touch leg etc. Another would be that you say you always go to another known spa the next town over.

You already know mamasan is not going to recognize you. It's your first time, remember. The same mamasan is not going to open the door 100% of the time. Even if she is the only one that normally does it. Sooner or later she won't be there. Even if it's only for a day. And the place is not going to close because she had to go somewhere. I always say that I have been there before. Enjoy O.

My thoughts exactly! It is the rule that I have always used. And have never had a problem on a first visit. Sometimes you may get a provider that you do not like. But that can happen even if you went there 20 times before Enjoy O.

When I first started reading these boards, it was a piece of advice I saw posted by several people who seemed to be deep in the hobby. The reasoning was that saying "yes" (no matter what the truth was) was more likely to get you the service you were after than saying "no". They claimed that in some instances saying "no" could actually shut down the possibility of getting premium service on that visit and you'd have to try again another time. The reasoning was that first timers were more of an unknown for them, do you know what's on the menu, do you know about tipping, are you someone who could cause trouble for them if they "guess wrong"? So they might take it easy on you and just feel you out on that first session. If you say "yes" that's saying you've been before and you're back again, you know what's available and what you came for, you're ready to tip, and so on. Obviously you could be lying but in a way that's still telling them something. Maybe I put too much stock in to that old information or maybe things have changed but those are the general thoughts I've read on these boards.

I'm curious. Why do you always say yes? I've had great results all over the US always saying no, or long time ago.
