A few days back a 20 year old provider was arrested along with a 51 year old monger in Shelton. It appears the hotel complained about foot traffic in and out of the room. My question for anyone who wants to take a shot. How does the dude get busted? Did he rat himself out or did the girl confess? I'm no legal expert but without seeing the exchange of money how could LEO make a bust? I mean, maybe the dude was in the room to get a back rub and wanted somebody to watch TV with. BTW, she looked pretty good especially by BPage standards so I'm sure there was a lot of traffic. Any thoughts?

I use a texting app on my phone. I don't have any pop-up notifications, just the badge app displays when I have a text. Works great. Better than trying to manage a burner phone.

Used to have one but never would use all the minutes and would have to recharge minutes after so many days. Now I use the Talkatone app, and so far it has been good texting and not bad calls. And totally free. A lot of the apps give you so many minutes free then you have to buy credits, free is good for me.

You could always do what I did and get divorced, and not worry about a burner phone. It's a tad more expensive though.

Seriously, all those posts about wives finding phones / going through them totally broke me into the cold sweats. Does PTSD ever apply to marriage?! Haha.

I use NextPlus. Create a new gmail account for the phone, pick a new phone number for texts and voice calls and also for replying to craigslist ads etc. Via email. Texts are free and I bought like 10 minutes a very long time ago and still have a couple minutes left.

Forget gmail. Google has enough personal information about us already. Get a free anonymous email address at Proton Mail, then use it to register with free texting apps like Talkatone, etc. No telephone number, preexisting email, etc. required.

Alright gents, I think I'm going to take the plunge for the first time either tonight or tomorrow. Any tips would be very useful, things to do and not to do. Also, any girls you would recommend for a first timer? I'm into curvy girls but not whales. Willing to do in / outcall but thinking an outcall would be better since I feel I can be in better control of the situation if it was in my car. Just curious which phones / plans you guys have been using, I think another great place to hide your phone from your SO is gym locker.

I bought a basic non Android Tracfone for 10 bucks and buy a 60 min card for twenty dollars every 90 days. You get triple minutes plus additional bonus minutes with codes you can find online. I may upgrade to a better handset soon but the basic phone I have now gets the job done. I keep lists of providers / numbers in my dedicated hobby e-mail account and delete all messages from the phone so if my SO finds the phone there is no incriminating evidence there to upset her.

Good lord, what kind of married (or with SO) guy / moron would use his personal phone for hobbying?

Get a burner (I've gone through dozens). Don't ever use your personal phone to call, make arrangement, send texts or whatever. Church and state! Be disciplined! Go to Walmart of CVS (etc) pay cash, buy a card, pay cash and load the phone.

I always had lots of phones (international travel). So an extra phone or two never aroused suspicion (battery and sim card removed when not in use, password protected and all texts and other messages flushed after use). My ex always knew the password to my phone (never changed over many, many years) she could pick it up anytime and I had nothing to fear.

If you need to hide it, a work shop or garage is good and when on the road try the spare tire well of your car. However, keep in mind that if you keep it in the car and she's driving your car and gets a flat, you'll have some explaining to do. If the phone is totally clean (no texts or calls), you can fall back on the "I picked it up for emergencies" and unlock it and hand it to her to inspect.

You will never regret having a phone dedicated to mongering and you will regret using your regular personal phone.
