The better the hotel, the less likely you'll be questioned in and out, unless you look like you just crawled out of a Quick Lube pit.

I travel LOTS, and most "business" folks in nice hotels are dressed in clean jeans and a polo or untucked dress shirts, even jeans and clean tees. Just walk in and out like you belong there, because you do! In recent times, some companies even do job interviews in hotels, so meeting in the lobby and moving off is in no way suspicious.

Of course, walking in and immediately shouting "Do you need to see my ID?" at the desk clerk will draw some strange looks.

Not comfortable? Once things get back to normal, visit some mid to nice hotels for a cocktail, or just to see the lobby, and watch things. Note the dress, folks walking by the desk, and people entering and leaving. Once you do, you'll be far more comfy in a nice property vs. a notel.

And BTW. Local people rent rooms ALL THE TIME! They had an argument, the house is being painted, my wife has COVID, I'm looking for a great place for relatives to stay. In reality, nobody asks.

No disrespect to Quick Lube techs intended, just change and shower before you hobby.

The ladies when they are entertaining multiple guests need to be sure the hotel is hobby friendly but if you are meeting a single girl you met online I don't see why there should be risks or issues- much better to be be in a nice, clean place. If they allocate you a Marriott or something just check-in yourself, go to the bar or restaurant and meet your girl, and go up- there is no way any hotel would ever question you. Many people meet a girl at the bar and go upstairs or married people are meeting a girlfriend- if hotels started checking on each guests status they wouldn't be in business.

In Danbury I have used the Ethan Allen and the Zero. Many Marriott properties allow contact less check-in and phone door entry so you don't ever need to interact with hotel staff.

If you are going to see more than one girl in a room I'd be careful in the more high end hotels -they are discreet and don't want to get into why guests are meeting others, but they don't want to be associated with the systematic hobby- if you are doing a multi person meeting stay with with the 2 star and independent hotels.

As others have stated, don't do Quality or Days Inn.

Some do short stay in Bethel like HoJo but your best deal maybe a daily rate with credit card and online deals.

So do as many meets in one day as you can! Just take your vitamins.

I know the motels in the Waterbury area and north but have no idea where to go for a short stay fo a reasonable amount that isn't a fleabag full of druggies. Don't need a place that has a heavy LEO presence. Suggestions in the Danbury area, gentlemen?

Just do a search in Danbury and you should be able to find a decent place in the 80-90 range. Call and ask for an early check in if you need it and then just leave afterwards. I've got some good deals on decent places, checked in at noon with an SA girl and just left at 5 pm. Don't know any hourly places in the area and if there are they will be disgusting.

Stay away from Quality Inn, LEO is aware and it is full of STG girls. There is a Howard Johnsons in Bethel that is okay and a Microtel as well. La Quinta in Danbury I think is okay as well. There is a Super 8 off exit 4 which is a hard NO as well.
