In a year or sooner I'm planning to take an extended tour of SE Asia as a tourist, as a monger, and to explore possible retirement destinations.

OMG. Please, please create a blog so we can follow your misadventures. I know you can't possibly post them all here, but would love to see detailed trip reports, pictures, food, etc. , and get the insider perspective that is more than, "I just banged another Thai chick. ".

I am extremely interested in Vietnam, but the web sources I've read over the years say that Ho Chi Minh City / Saigon is not a wide open monger destination compared to other monger Meccas in Asia. There is action here and there I know and you can always find pros and "semi-pros" in discos and other night spots where you can work your sugar daddy game, but sounds too much trouble for me under current circumstances. I have also consistently heard that most decent hotels don't allow sex workers on the premises. Maybe this is dated information? I know Vietnam has been rapidly changing over the last 10 years.

BTW, there's a thread below that discusses haircut / salon type places in SoCal where you can get something more than salon service in the back. The Mimi's place discussed in that thread was Viet and so are a couple of others I've been aware of over the years in OC. I get a kick out of watching the Youtube vids which document Ho Chi Minh City Barbershops where a man can get a wide variety of legit services. I. e. Haircut, shave, EAR CLEANING, full body massage over clothes. All done by incredibly hot young girls who are basically dressed as they would to draw max attention in nightclubs. But it is just a barbershop. Large, spotless and modern. Many chairs, and most services are performed in the chairs in the public area. I do realize that in many asian cities there are numerous barber shops that front as brothels. "Hot Toc's" means Hair Cut / Barbershop. In that thread, the famous 2 barbershops with BJ is Benny and NPK. Search for those 2 names or just read the thread and you'll find plenty of info on barbershop with extra. You can also find many funs at coffee shops in the outskirt offering extras hence the title of BJ Cafes.

Dare I quote one of the oldest clichés in the world that "Variety is the spice of life". Too many of us including myself more often than I'm happy about, get hung up and obsessed with the simplicity of "conquering the pussy" as an uncomplicated financial transaction. There's the reference to "scoring" when we fuck the hot girl in the next office or a club pick-up or succeeding in seduction in the normal course of our lives. That's exciting and so is the discovery of the riches available through mongering. But there's no "score" in the trick. Its impersonal and with constant repetition over time it will devalue the greatness that sexual intimacy delivers when the fucking is this easy to obtain but hollow at the core.

I think that a big part of the solution is to find our way out of indulging as a life style. Many of us who P4 P for extended years describe ourselves and each other as "hobbyists". Yes I realize that many of us say it as a joke but it illustrates our difficulty of coming to terms with the reality that we are lifestylers, not hobbyists. Travel a route towards making it a hobby again, the way it was when you first started doing it, and possibly rediscover the value and the richness of it all over again.

Agree, the AMP scene and everything around is boring and outdated, since most of the girls are 40+ , long are gone the days where F. O. B. Young girls used to came here in the summer in order to make extra cash. Personally I am planning a day trip in Tijuana and after that in a few months a trip in Thailand or Philippines (a week long for myself and a friend of mine is doing a cool month over there.).

Take 3 weeks off and visit Vietnam and Cambodia. I'm sure you'll find getting Cialus at the end of week 2. Go to Phu Quc get a nice young one then get the heck out of there. Cambodia is a nice place for sexy dark skinned women. Don't expect full Bush at these places. Just go.

I compare BKK like this. You're driving a 2018 Lexus with 500 K miles. Vietnam and Cambodia you can drive the same car with only 25-50 K BKK been there done that.
