Anyone care to speculate what kind of shake down of establishments these new regulations will cause in SF?

My guess is they will be waiting until the 90 day period after June 30 is up and then will start planning raids on the most egregious offenders, especially those strongly suspected of human trafficking involvement. With the alleged 100+ illegitimate establishments there is no way they can raid them all in one go. Or they may just begin a steady drip drip of rules enforcement which will force them to shut down without raids. Again I think they will be leaning on the most egregious offenders first but it may take years to have effect. Just my $0. 02 worth.

BTW just noticed today TER has a forum section so maybe the RB forum posting folk will move there as USG and it's sister ISG (remember all those years ago when it was called WSG seem pretty unknown which ofc can be a good and bad thing, I. E. You need a community to keep peer reviews and community going (especially in low post areas) but same time, agree we don't need all the RB trash either.

To be honest, 95% of what was on rb was garbage IMHO. What I'm wondering though is how are the AAMPs in the South Bay and Peninsula going to advertise now? I have a few phone numbers in my phone, but how will we be able to find new talent just in from Asia.
Can someone PM me if they know where the AAMPs are advertising now? That's mostly what rb was good for to me.

I wouldn't sweat it. I was a member, but moved away from SF a few years ago.

Posts: 83RB was partially down for weeks
The forums have been inaccessible for a couple of weeks, but the ads were working. I knew something was happening, but couldn't figure out what. I was VIP so they have my CC info, so I am fucked.

For all your RB folk FBI just seized it today.
(CNN) -- The FBI on Wednesday shut down a website advertising children for prostitution -- a move made as part of a broader crackdown on the sex trafficking of minors, law enforcement sources told CNN on condition of anonymity. Federal agents closed myredbook.com in a raid in San Francisco. Two people were arrested on suspicion of operating the site, the sources said The raid stems from a national child sex trafficking crackdown in which the FBI said it rescued 168 children and arrested 281 alleged pimps this month. Some of the rescued children were identified through myredbook.com, one of the law enforcement sources said. The FBI acknowledged an ongoing investigation, but would not provide specific information.
When you visit the site you get:
This domain name has been seized by the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), as the result of a joint investigation by the FBI and the Internal Revenue Service.
This domain name is subject to both civil and criminal forfeiture. This seizure is based on probable cause to believe that this domain name was involved in money laundering derived from racketeering based on prostitution in violation of state and federal law.
Property, including domain names, involved in violating Title 18, United States Code, Section 1957, is subject to civil and criminal forfeiture to the United States pursuant to Title 18, United States Code, Section 981 (a)(1)(A) and Section 982 (a)(1).
To report information about a crime to the FBI, please call 1-800-CALL-FBI.
OFC it's all BS and the same logic used to kill CL and one day BP but something to be aware of. I'm confident just like the admins here no way even if true the RB admins were aware of it. I'm assuming they have a zero tolerance policy also.
