The story also said the police were conducting undercover surveillance. Now I have not seen any cars or vans that would suitable for surveillance parked in that area. So my guess is that the cops were using businesses to do surveillance. The other possibility is that they had camera in some cars in that area.

It will be interesting if a more detailed report becomes available. The other question is why have we not heard more people been posting about this. The one good thing is that we have not heard Summer Stephen & her irritating whining. I am also tired of listening LE & radio personalities whine about how awful it is that CA repealed the loitering law. The loiter law was a catchall law that allowed LE to interpret loitering however they want to. Several DA's have come out and stated how flaky the loitering the law was. In the end there is crime for merely talking to prostitute. Most guys are simply out to have a good time with a girl. None of us however want to see a girl trafficked however. The recent events should remind us that it is never a good idea to drop our guard.

I was heading back north from Natl City this afternoon about 1--stopped for a bite at the Jack in the Box on Roosevelt and 8th. As I left I went north I turned right on 6th and holy moses--hookers wandering the middle of 6th between Roos and NCB. 7 or 8 cars lined up; it's like a Sonic Burger drive in. I'm used to seeing this at 11 or 12 at night, but midday was a surprise. Trim BSWs and some others. Cops were cruising a block behind me but nothing seems to happen. Quite a candyland, but not my thing. Fun to watch tho.

Do you think a lot of this is from the undercovers busting people and ads online?

    List Crawler? Seriously?

I have found Listcrawler to contain nothing but overweight, over-priced, and non-reachable providers, with a majority dose of SCAMMERS thrown in!

Come to think of it-that is also the norm on "rumbaps. Ch", "eroticmonkey. Ch", and "rubmd.com". All operate on the "sucker born every minute" idea!

LE Stings are in Cycles, This one has just passed

The bad news, 30 guys are having a bad day.

The good news, LE has done their sting so there will be a few months of relative freedom from LE attention.

Putting on these stings takes time and money. Once they show the community they are protecting them, and have 30 unfortunate souls to parade around like trophies, they'll be moving onto other pressing issues. Maybe planning their next sting in a few months or so. That means you can have your fun over the holidays and worry less about a surprise visit to your host or Spa.

The 30 arrests have been referred to the San Diego County District Attorney's Office and San Diego City Attorney's Office for potential prosecution.

San Diego County District Attorney Summer Stephan said, "Sex trafficking is a lucrative industry fueled by demand, and it generates over $810 million a year in San Diego County. We are fighting this with the dedicated work of the San Diego Regional Human Trafficking Task Force and its efforts in this operation to hold sex buyers accountable. ".

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) SAN DIEGO (CNS) - A four-day anti-human trafficking operation in San Diego County resulted in 30 arrests of people accused of responding to advertisements offering sexual services, the California Attorney General's Office said Monday.

The initiative dubbed Operation Century Week was carried out in Encinitas, National City, San Diego, Santee and other local areas between last Tuesday and Friday, according to California Attorney General Rob Bonta's office.

Undercover law enforcement officers posed in online advertisements as people offering sex for sale. Those who responded to the ads agreed to meet up at certain predetermined locations, where they were arrested for alleged solicitation.

"Tackling human trafficking in our state takes cooperation and a multi-pronged approach," Bonta said in a statement. "Demand-reduction operations like 'Century Week' are one part of the solution. I'm grateful to all of our partners on the San Diego Human Trafficking Task Force for their ongoing efforts to protect the safety and well-being of all Californians. ".

The 30 arrests have been referred to the San Diego County District Attorney's Office and San Diego City Attorney's Office for potential prosecution.
