You are strongly advised to minimize the pickup time on the track. Thou should not do meaningless things. Worse, thou shalt not do harmful things to thyself.

It isn't as scary as your mind tries to convince you that it is. Should you drive out there and make yourself an easy target? Of course not, but as long as you aren't an idiot or bring unnecessary attention to yourself, then you'll be good.

Only done it twice, but I always scoped out and shopped for a bit before picking up SW. I always look for a WSW and that might take a few minutes on Fig.

Its hit & miss completely and there's a revolving door of 304's. They work here for a week or so then head somewhere else like LV or Seattle. There phone numbers are reliable out to later the same day then all bets are off. And never judge a book by its cover, chat them up and get a feel for what kind of time you can expect. ROBs are usually the best looking and highest asking price.
