I would love to take one for the team, but with the recent increase in gas prices I'm just going to confirm that it's a TGTBT. I subjected myself to Lindsey's screening process this past week in effort to get some time with someone that I thought might help me get through my Salma hangover now that Salma has left town. Lindsey seemed to drop off the map a while ago and then suddenly reappeared recently. I guessed that perhaps she had gone somewhere else for the summer and was probably just returning for school.

I understand why many girls find screening to be important, but I truly hate it. It makes me feel like I'm interviewing for a job, and then I get to spend lots of money on that job, and then I find I'm that much more disillusioned if the first day on the job doesn't live up to expectations.

Well I sucked it up and gave her the references and she followed up pretty quickly with an affirmative that she would see me, but it would have to be immediately because she was moving away from Tucson permanently. I opted to save my money as it has been my experience that first visits are never as good as the subsequent visits that follow the first 'get to know each other' session. Since it was clear this was going to be a one shot deal, I decided it wasn't worth the cost.

So if you were a friend of Lindsey's, it looks like you are SOL as she has apparently left town permanently.

I traded a few texts with Daisy and somewhat came to the conclusion that she was whacked out.
