Went in to check out Crazy Horse as it has new owner & been renovated. Really nice looking place, place is actually clean and no worries about touching anything anymore, haha. Was only a few girls dancing & there were hardly any customers. I'm guessing it just hasn't caught on yet. M hoping it succeeds as it's nice to have options in this town.

Not too much to elaborate on really. There are some very attractive women in there and some I find not. But that's all up to you. If you go by yourself then expect to be asked for dances often. Don't feel pressure to say yes just because they asked. Get who you want. As long as you are buying drinks they really won't kick you out for not buying dances. I would say it's worth the time if you have cash to burn. Hasn't been my thing lately. For the same amount of money spent you could actually get laid instead of just a dance!

I went there on July 3rd and actually had a great time. I did have a girl with me. I feel like that possibly helps the experience. The dancers didn't seem as pushy or rude when you said no as I had remembered in the past.

Care to share more details? I'm in anchorage for next few days, would like to try this. Is it worth the time?

First time in a few years -- a shadow of its 80's or 90's heyday, but possibly depressed due to covid too. Did a two dancer lap after they did a nice job selling possibilities -- lots of touch in the negotiation pre-dance.

Actual dance was a complete let down. While access to T and A was generous, they were more about smashing their assess into my crotch and bending this way and that. Not sensual, and the sexy touch used to get me to bite on the dance was absent when they would have had a chance to get me to go for a second song. When I declined and said why, they thought announcing "he's a one and done guy" would somehow make me change my mind. If I were their business manager, I would advise them that flattery and even fake horniness will get them far more than criticism and obvious greed. I wish I could recall their names (I'm sure they told me), but they and the dance were that forgettable. Both had lots of tattoos and plastic tits (one much larger than the other), and the top heavy woman may have also had an implanted butt. I know, this hardly narrows the field much. Exciting from a distance; a little less so when it is smacking you. In any case, I was reminded why strip clubs, at least those in AK, are not very enticing to me.

You nailed the reason I don't go to those places anymore, here in Alaska. The last time I was in was about 3 years ago. I had just arrived and sat down when an unattractive (IMHO) dancer came by and asked if I wanted a dance. I said "no, not yet, thank you anyway". Her response was a very snotty "your loss". Now come on if you can't just accept that without being a **** then why would anyone want to be "entertained" by you.

Not all of the dancers are like that I know but one of them can change your attitude about the whole place.

So did you have to pay a cover to get in? I've been told they now have a cover charge on certain days / times. Any good local or out of state talent?

I was up there in the service in the early 70's. I finally remembered the name of a Strip Joint that I took my 'ol lady to. Was called the Kit Kat Club. Anyone here old enough to remember the place?

I frequented the K K Club also. It burned down to the ground I think late 70's. I was stationed at Elmendorf AFB, '72 to '75. Worked in the 21st MMS, was a weapons loading crew chief with F-4 phantom squadron. Stayed in Alaska after one hitch in AF. Live in Meadow Lakes.

Which is a pity, Sin Rock here in Anchorage had finally actually started to update their much neglected Instagram feed (if any ladies read this, then seriously, a minor social media presence is a great thing to have).

Anyone have a line on any dancers or other ladies in town, who are willing to offer a strip club like experience while things are closed?

Couldn't find a whole lot of information on the clubs here I decided to hit them all. I actually connected with another guy who was visiting Anchorage and we decided to go together. First we hit Crazy Horse, pretty much a dump but I've been in worse clubs. Got there about 10 only one nice-looking stripper there, a nice thick black girl. How to drink there I moved on to sinrock, you saw the sign that said no alcohol and didn't even bother going in, we figured we'd go over to the Bush Company have some drinks and returned if nothing was going on in there. Got to the Bush Company had a pretty good time nice mix of girls and some of them were really friendly. There is one there by the name of India, tall black girl with the killer body, by far the hottest in that club. Tipped her while she was on stage after that she came down, I asked if she was available to see me outside of the club, she said yes. Rates are very high so I'm really not sure if I'll even see her but she's so hot that I'm actually thinking about it. Head back over to Crazy Horse, the hot black girl is still there I hang out with her and we start talking and we both quickly figure out we have been texting each other from one of her ads on adultlook. Poked my head in out of curiosity and was pleasantly surprised.

Last time I checked it out years ago, it was an absolute shithole. Now. It's a legit strip club of hole-in-the-wall quality, which is my personal favorite. I don't like the super-polished clubs where they have a stupid attendant in the bathrooms.

They finally have dancers of good quality (8+), though there are still a couple 2's-3's as there were the last time I visited.

Apparently, one girl got in trouble for giving a customer a BJ in the parking lot; now they follow strict rules regarding dancers leaving with customers. Did not see if there was takeout to be had, but given that past problem, there likely is.

Only downside is dance prices. A lapdance with touching that would have been $20 in the lower 48 was $60 with a strict no touching policy. However, they do not seem to cut their songs down at least.

Table dances are $20 but appear worthless.
