The strip club scene is basically dead. The other club, Lionz Den, is shut down. Most of the dancers from Mobile are dancing in Pensacola.

Long time lurker here but I just to ask a question now. What the hell happened to the Candy Store and the while SC scene in Mobile.

I just came back to Mobile after being gone for 16 years and I was shocked how dead The Candy Store was last Saturday night. It used to be THE place to go. When I went it at like 9 pm it was a ghost town. No customers, mediocre ladies, and just a dead atmosphere. About the only thing I can sat good was the Bud Ligjts were ice cold.

It looks like to me it's only Candy Store and Diamonds. What the hell happened to the other clubs?

Visited Mobile couple of weeks ago and now I certainly understand your pain.

Just went to two clubs.

Candy store: spoke with a tall 6 3 girl. Very nice and pretty. Then found out about this dancer drink thing which is a way to drain you. You order a drink for the dancer and it starts at 30. First time to see that. Then she started selling the VIP which is over priced. I told her that, she said you get my phone number as well I was like LOL.

The other club is Diamonds, the smallest club I have ever been to. Small and cramped place. A thick girl goes by Anastasia wanted to sell VIP which is not a VIP it is just a a couch behind a bed sheet. She was very pathetic. Kept the old story she is a single mom and college student bla bla. Finished couple of drinks and left.

So after experiencing a no go at the new Star (busy) I decided to go down to The Candy store, so I go see a side entrance and park you close yet there lots of cars. (a little after 9) walk in see a Big girl at the counter ask how much is cover says 7 and I'm like thinking that's not bad this might be my kind of shady cheap clubs, (well I was wrong got in the door and there were 7 girls 5 hanging out around table, There was one girl dressed in her outfit she was over by the DJ dancing (Big tall Girl little big boned but cute) I go to the bar ask for a soda and 4. 50 is the price. That's a little costly for a 50 cent can of soda. Thought maybe they make all the drinks expensive to make sure people buy something else. So sit down and wait a good 10 minutes and finally a girl sits down as if I want company, I said sure how much is a lap dance. She asks if I want to see the full tour. I asked her if she would like drink first (trying to be nice) she warns me there 30 (like an idiot I say that's ok, bad move now I look like I'm loaded.) the big tall girl finally gets on stage, me and the Girl I'm with bbw start tipping the talk girl six dollars only the tall girl (with my money) like nothing we started the tour they show me a room no door hiding in the Champaign room and let me know that the best area is 1000, because it' the most private then shoes me another one that's right beside saying it's 1500 (because it has a pole / stage) I laugh and say 1500! And she said something about the 45 minutes room in there cheapest 375.0 or something like that. I told her I needed to go to my car to get my wallet, I proceed to my car and leave. Out 47 dollars and didn't touch or get touch or see a nipple or not eve. An an ass cheek.

You must look like a million dollars, I got took for 150 there once, chick offered me a BJ, but behind the curtain all I got was watching her stick a beer bottle up her vj, and than I got threw out for complaining to management.

Now when I get that high dollar treatment I just say I'm sorry, I was just thinking one song and I could touch you for maybe $25. Has worked every time, and in multiple states. LOL.

So what's the word on Lionz Den in Theodore these days? I see some promising reviews, but nothing newer than six months old. Is it even still open?

I can't tell you much except that it's still open and seems to be popular. I drove by it around 3 am Friday night / Saturday morning, and the Peking lot was packed. Or the parking lot. Fucking Chinese spellcheck.

I stopped going to SC because they were asking for more $$$ but giving poorer service. The ladies were also playing it safe by not doing after hours get together so It seemed like what's the point. I've noticed this spot for a while but kept forgetting to go there.

I heard from a very reliable source that the closing was a result of divorce along with a side attempt to split and keep in the family but family members didn't want any part of it. The website only lists Birmingham, Pensacola and Ft. Walton. RIP Sammy's of Mobile I promise I'll keep our after hours secrets with me LOL.

The lady that owned it died last year it is probably tied up in probate with heirs fighting over everything. Know a guy that was distantly related but not close enough to inherit anything. She left a bundle houses, large life insurance payouts and safes full of cash.

Really? That place stayed busy. I saw a Facebook post sky it's permanently closed. Well hell if it's officially closed we ought to tell our best (or worst) Sammy's moments. I got 2 I can think of right off my head. The club was overly strict but if you knew the right ones you could have memories of a lifetime.

This place is one big hustle! $24 for a companion drink. The bar maids are always pushing. I made arrangements for TO with Amy a tall slender brunette. She called to confirm 30 minutes prior, then no show. Go somewhere else. P.S.yche.
