The girl you refer to as "Glamour Shots" is Shelby Bethune and she used to advertise on Craig's list back in the day. I saw her a few times and pretty sure she was just getting started as she didn't require protection.

Soon as she got paid she had to leave, presumably to pay pimp or buy drugs. Back then she was working out of a house in Springville and was much chubbier. She later started working out of Irondale near the Wal Mart.

Looks like drugs has gotten rid of the chub and she looks better now.

The person that was over us was a speed-freak and made it known that you could get out of your service for 10 hits of speed per day. He also took a cut of what the girls made. All-in-all, I felt rehabilitated by the whole affair.

Well, on Wednesday afternoon I saw the BPD mobile headquarters and about 20 cop cars parked out on 1st down from the Motel 8. Then later on that night is when someone told me about the sweep they had going on. I'd not been out since the previous week, so I had no idea all that mess was happening. I think it's funny they're acting like there's an overabundance of SW in the area. I've seen no more than usual, really it's been sort of slow in my opinion.

Most of the girls have been wary and staying close to their place of business to begin with because of a rapist monger that's been going around since at least the summer. I've not posted much about this and won't give many public details about it right now. But as I said before a few months ago, it's a violent Ted Bundy type guy. He's picked up numerous girls and violently assaulted them. They know who he is, though, so it's only a matter of time.

I am always disgusted how the cops that the cops turn prostitution into a shame crime. The cops should be going after the pimps. They are the ones causing the problems. It is rude and disgusting to throw condoms after we do our business. This really stirs up the locals.

I don't know about here but I got popped in California, way back in the early 90's. It cost me:

$310 in court costs.

5 days in jail (community service)

Mandatory AIDS test.

Mandatory AIDS Awareness class (all I learned was how to clean my "works" before and after shooting up)

They published a large ad in one of the local newspapers saying " * (city) will not tolerate prostitution. Listed below are the names of men arrested for this crime the past week." My name was one of many listed.

Because I was in the military, it cost me being able to reenlist (after 11+ years) , not to mention my security clearance.

Why mess with the john's? Now the ones that have some "issues" on their record, if you're out there you deserve to get caught. IThe issue with prostitution is drugs. If BPD really wanted to do something, all they need to do is get one of these SW's and go to the source. She has to buy dope eventually. That's why she's out there to begin with. It ain't to save up to go to dental school. You eliminate the drugs, you eliminate the prostitutes. I know that's easier said than done, but if you want to kill a snake, cut it's head off.

Heard about this on the news today. Hope none of you got caught up in it. Seems like BPD would have better things to do than this. I don't monger often in this area, but seems like when theirs a round-up over your way, it usually leads to one here in ttown.
