Agreed and all too true. I posted the same advice a few months ago when this issue happened to someone else. Further, when you get the room number, don't park to close to that location, just in case she has someone watching her and the surroundings. A short walk helps protect your I'd and car.

I've met many providers that are simply looking to see you prior to your visit. Maybe they're seeing if you're in a squad car, or there's one nearby. Maybe they're trying to see if you're a troll. Maybe it IS a setup. That's always something to be watchful of.

For anyone I see, I let them know that I'll text when near or parked. When there, I ask for the building and or room number. If I get any nonsense about where I parked or what I'm driving, I'm out of there pronto. I don't need instructions to find their room. There's no magic in that.
