anyway, these busts aren't going to change anything and anyone with two brain cells is going to get off scot-free. i got caught by something similar back in march, i might post a report of it sometime. my lawyer told me that whenever these stings happen, about half the guys (including me) get the charges dropped and the other half usually just plea-bargain probation. i doubt le really cares that much about misdemeanor convictions, they just like to get their arrest numbers up so it looks good on paper.

Posts: 61LVMPD "Buyer Beware" Program Arrests 268
LAS VEGAS. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police announced the arrests of 144 individuals during a 10-day nationwide anti-prostitution operation named "Buyer Beware."
LVMPD Detectives arrested 26 "johns" during the operation that concluded on Aug. 20 and impounded four vehicles. A total of 188 charges were filed.
In many cases, suspects were arrested on multiple charges. During the operation, four juveniles who had been exploited into a life of prostitution were identified by investigators.
Due to the ongoing nature of the investigations, no suspect names will be released.
This annual nationwide effort is in its third year.

LAS VEGAS (KSNV & MyNews3). A National sweep called Operation Buyer Beware sends hundreds of men behind bars.
The 10-day operation targeted so called johns, men who were looking to pay for sex in hotels, the streets and online.
Authorities say 268 men were arrested. Women's advocacy groups say more needs to be done to keep women from being victimized and empowered. A group gathers this weekend at Lake Las Vegas with that goal in mind.
News 3's Crime Tracker 3 Anchor Marie Mortera has more on this.

It looks like our favorite uncle is looking to ramp up their numbers for this weekend (EDC + boxing). They are out there on your favorite websites bending over backwards to entrap you. They do not really care how; they just want you in their books and cells, so to speak.
My 2 cents is to go with trusted providers (highly reviewed and / or repeat business) only if you want to play it safe this weekend.
Be careful.

If you plead no contest, you'll probably get off with probation only, provided you have no previous record. You are eligible to expunge you record after three years provided you have no prior arrest and you stay out of trouble for the three year duration.
If they have enough evidence, it's probably no point in fighting it unless your lawyer has a loophole. PO will ask them to plead no contest is what they usually do, they won't drop it to disruptive conduct unless they are lacking solid evidence.
Don't take my word for it, seek legal advice, but I thought I share what I know.

Posts: 144About a month ago 2 friends of mine were busted in a sting at Lowes. One lives in Idaho and says he will just plead no contest keep his mouth shut not tell anyone and have his record sealed in 2 years. The other guy lives in vegas and his family found about it before he was release from jail. This guy hired a lawyer. I'm thinking that is the smartest way of going about it as it is possible he can at least get the language changed to a disruptive conduct.
Any thoughts on this?

I don't know the area much but I think I saw a LE operation as you head west on Trop half mile from under pass.
I see two, Too good to be true in mini skerts walking west on Trop they head into a north side streat. As I pass the street I see two cars dome lights come on and four men start to get out. I speed up to a turn around near some fast food area, get turned around and see three cars come out of that street. I got beside one car with both grils in it, both were on phones and not looking like SPs. The other two cars I could not get up to safely, to see in side.
Be on your gard
