I was wondering if anybody's ever checked out the Borealis Beach Club, http://www.borealisbeachclub.com/, just north of Wasilla. With fewer strip bars in Anchorage, I was curious if it was worth the 50-mile drive. Anybody been up there?

I never visited in the winter, but it sounds like you nailed the description. The girls told me everyone disappeared for the winter. I remember the first time I walked in (in the summer). I saw porno on the walls (the movies you mentioned Oman), and before I could even sit down, a girl reached inside my sweats, grabbed my johnson, and used it to tow me to a table (literally). I knew right away I wasn't in your average strip joint. And it stayed open late because it was just outside the Soldotna city boundaries.

I missed more than one early fishing date by frolicking too late at Charlies.

But if now, it still was like it was back then, I'd gladly make a 1000 mile round trip from Fairbanks once a summer for a nice 3 day visit. It was that good.

I remember hitting Good Time Charlie's about 12-15 years ago during the winter, when I was traveling for a hockey game, and all the decent-looking girls must have skedaddled for the off-season because there was only one woman who even attracted me, and she was fully clothed working behind the bar. While I wound up not buying more than one or two table dances/simulated screws, I did see a couple of other folks who might as well have been having sex. Anyway, the touches I remember were the lighted bulletin board that display the names of everyone who ever bounced a check in the place, and the big-screen televisions in the corner with the hard-core porn videos playing at all hours.

Ahhh. GT Charlies brings back good summer memories from the early 90's. The kings came into the Kenai, and the girls flocked to Soldotna.

No curtained area back then. Just one big old fun loving bar. Everyone was drinking and the lap dances were just this side of ripping off your clothes and screwing. And there were never less than 15 girls.

Those table dances were expensive (30-50 depending on the girl and how well you knew her), but they were full contact. I remember girls sticking their tongues in my mouth, and grabbing my hand (I was shy my first time or two, or with a new girl) and putting it on their boobs, or even on their "hoo ha". Like I said, full contact, both ways. It was great. And about a third of them could be talked into a date after work.

Then around 92 or 93 they got busted for "too much contact" by undercover. Go figure :-) Gossip was that a girl "did" him in the bar. I believe it.

So since then, it's never been the same. I went back about 3 years ago while on a fishing trip. No mixing drinking and dancing anymore; like you said, they have a curtained area where you go, and you can't take your drink. I was pleased to find out that (at least with the girl I picked) you could still let your hands (and lips) roam. But it was "buy a dance or return to the bar". Not the same as dancing, sitting and BS-ing, and drinking, then more dancing.

Anyways, I know that's not the kind of report you were probably looking for, but it was nice taking a trip down mammary lane.

Fourth of July Penninsula Report:

I spent time cruising Kenai and Soldotna during a clamming excursion. Cool thing the bars stay open until 5 am.

Decided to start at Good Time Charlies. At one time had a great reputation for fun until the local authorites decided to moderate the too much fun with a crack down. Sigh. I'm not sure if I was there on a slow night but I only got a look at about six dancers.

Mostly washouts from the Anchorage clubs - the Bush Co, Crazy Horse, and PJ's. The Dancers are hungry and they will promise you the world. Quoted 40-50 for a nude lap dance in curtained quarters and 30 for half nude. Some were pretty busty. Allie looked the most tempting and she has a sweet personality. Bummer is that she is the most popular too and gets stretched.

There is a "Scandinavian" red head Jill, a big girl with huge knockers and hips to match. Her face is somewhat masculine and she somewhat looks like a fat trans-sexual. In fact when the subject of TV's came up she immediately tried to change the subject. The reason of my suspicion is how her cootch is postitioned. Looks abnormal like a botched surgery. The boobs are abnormal looking globes with no sag that are far apart. She can tighten her pec's to make her breasts jiggle. Her hands are huge and manly. Her face definitely has masculine features IMHO.

Another featured dancer, Riley is a amazon Blonde body builder. A definite looker but she seems a little too full of herself tho cordial. I m not sure why she seemed to be getting ignored the night I was there. She commutes to Anchorage every other night.

I did a bar crawl thru both towns for amateurs or semi-pros that may have done Anchorage before. I came up empty handed but on the odd nite there is potential. I couldnt find the stroll or sight any hitchhikers. It's a small town and I am sure things are kept under wraps. Lots of clients with fishing interests.

I would like to hear some more evals.

Just a warning.

If you are heading to Kenia fishing and want to unwind at the asian massage place in Sterling. DONT BOTHER. There is one old oriental chick who doesnt even massage at all then wants to start upselling you for extras. She asks for more cash, fish if you caught some, even the jewelery you are wearing. The place stinks from the dogs living in there. She lies about having a young good looking girl in the back who she always claims is too busy to show her face. A real rip off artist. Motor into anchorage and spend the same money for a great massage here.

Just a note, you bush guys, K-Town is hopping this time of year with all the cruise ships and tourists and all sorts of strange stuff walks the streets. Some of them wil return eye contact, but I have never had the guts to check them out. Mostly young and attractive women who are obviously from out of town. There are plenty of skanks in the bars late at night, but they are mostly toothless old drunks with bodies like my dead granny's.

Had a great no-pay session with an old friend today. She has lost weight (about 120) and is very energetic. Wore me out... not at all like the old lady, who out-weighs me!

So, that said, not much game down here, though I have heard stories of action in K-Town and Juneau both, but mostly crack ****** or worse. Never seen a bust for prostitution in any of the local papers. Oh, 20 years ago, it was another story!

I found a business card in Juneau for what appears to be a new service. The service is called "The Birds & The Bees Escorties" (their spelling) and the listed owners are "Amor and Venes" (again, their spelling, obviously these folks didn't pay attention to their spelling lessons in school). When I tried the phone number, the man who answered said they had three girls in town working right now -- a Native girl, an Hispanic girl and a black girl, all in the 18-25 age range. He said he expexts to have more girls coming to town from Indianapolis at the end of the month. He quoted me $150 an hour for the service, but none of the described women really appealed to me (though the Hispanic girl sounded interesting, I guess she's about 6-foot tall and I like them tall). NW Traveler, it might be too late for your trip to Sitka, but you might try Alexx (see link to her Web site in previous posts). She sometimes visits Juneau and Anchorage, so she might travel to Sitka. She lives in Southeast, but not in Juneau, so she might be willing to travel if you take care of her ferry ticket or airline ticket.
