EB works like this: the provider posts an ad, the ad goes on the directory, and the link you click on from the directory takes you to a TEMPORARY page for the provider's ad. If you use the directory in this way, click on the ad, go to the ad's page, and copy and paste the link from there, your link will be useless after a few minutes. It just re-directs to the homepage.

The simplest way to paste a providers link if you wish for anyone else to be able to find it a few hours, days or weeks after you've posted it is this:

Navigate to the providers ad as you normally would, through the directory, and when you find yourself on that temporary ad page, click on the providers comments. That takes you to the providers "permanent" page, or the one that EB saves on the website if the provider keeps posting with the same account they used to create the ad. That's how providers acrue reviews and why some providers are unable to (they forget their number or password and make new accounts every time they make an ad, so the site has no permanent "home" for their ads).

This is an example of a Temporary link that will be dead soon after you post it. Notice the string of numbers at the end is just a random 7-digit number.

Now here's an example of the Permanent link you can get to using the method I showed above:

Notice the shorter link and the string of numbers at the end is actually the providers phone number. This way even if the link dies for some reason any forum user can search the providers phone number on google and try to find the provider you were talking about. These links usually never go dead, but occasionally they will if the provider deletes the ad or the site loses the page data for some reason. But the Other type of link mentioned above will Always go dead within the first hour of its being posted.
