With regard to LE, the only times I have had any trouble with LE is not the regular cruisers, but the cowboys in the unmarked cars and SUV's. They sneak up on you, and well all they do is detain and threaten you before ultimately letting you leave, the 30-45 minutes and the not knowing if this might be the one time that is the exception is annoying and stressful.

The same girl told me that as long as you stay south of Orchard the Compton LE tends to look the other way, unless something is really out of the ordinary. North is Lynwood and they crack down more, especially during the day.
