I have often wondered whether there are many great finds at once on the K and I just missed that fact because I took advantage of the first one I found. Because I usually try to get as far from the Ave as possible once I have made a pick-up.

I've given up fighting with the forum's auto corrections. Not that I'm dumb or lazy, just tired of dealing with it.

There are a few auto corrections here that really annoy me. I don't understand why some long quotations, especially the direct quotation of dialogue (which I tend to use frequently), have my double quotations transformed to single quotations. Spacing is often altered for some reason, based on some odd logic. Sentences and phrases, and numbers and phrases with commas sometimes develop small canyons between them that you didn't place there. You can't single-space the distance between paragraphs, which is awkward when you have a number of one-liners that you want to single space. Certain words (nawwwww, yeeeehawww) become links for some strange reason. The acronym "ID" becomes "I'd," like the writer didn't know the difference (I had to go back and correct this one, for example). AND, last but not least: why can't we place smiley faces in the first draft without having to come back and edit / add them?

Different strokes for different folks: that phrase has an especially interesting twist of double entendre for our mongering hobby.

In Ohio, we have had a few 'cage rattlers' who brag about BBFS. These guys seek attention, and get a smidgen by proclaiming their ignorance about BBFS. Jackson suggested ignoring their inflammatory posts. Mongers in the know recognize their fatally flawed ignorance. I agree: let them float away in their own boat.

It would appear that both risk and beauty are in the eye of the beholder. Some guys think that skydiving out of an airplane is a thrill. I wouldn't do it for a million dollars. Some guys prefer spinners, and some love chubs, and some want MILFs, and some will only settle for a cover girl. I tend to like the whole spectrum if the attitude and skills are there.

What we mongers do many non-mongers would characterize as extremely risky behavior, bordering on the insane. We troll in relatively dangerous neighborhoods, and pick up girls very likely to be drug-addicted, diseased and often armed with some sort of weapon (who can blame them with all the crazies out there, especially now this Kensington Strangler). So, we would probably be ostracized by non-mongers, and often are, even in this Forum, by those who consider themselves higher-class "hobbyists" with better self-proclaimed taste. This is especially true when the pic (s) of the girl aren't Playboy quality. We know, of course, that many of the internet girls and escorts of these same "hobbyists" were or are plying their trade on the streets of Kenzo or Broadway.

Regarding BBFS, what can I say? We are all entitled to assume our own risks. In fact, the right to do that and write about it without criticism is protected by the rules of this Forum. Apparently there are are many mongers who wish to do this and are willing to pay a SW a premium for the privilege. My SW information sources consistently tell me that 75-80% of their customers want to have BBFS. I would think that with all the info we have today about HIV, that such an activity would be something that most would want to avoid. But, then again, I am a scaredy-cat when it comes to jumping out of airplanes.

Like Howard, you have discovered the secret to ratings: NAKED WOMEN! One only has to look at the recent reports listing to see that the Philly thread is unlike any other thread in the country. Most cities have photos that number in the hundreds but Philly has thousands... It's an old saying that Sex Sells and it can be extrapolated that even more sex sells even better.

The Philly Forum overall has many pic posts of naked women, but I don't think that is the sole explanation to the popularity of MY particular thread as measured by the speed and acceleration of thread views. I was referring to my thread alone, which has a higher speed and acceleration of views not only nationwide, but also among any and all other threads in the very popular Philly Forum itself.

You may be right that sex sells. But this whole website is dedicated to that. Perhaps my detractors and those who complain about me are all wet. The popularity measures, as I previously explained them, don't lie. Despite the fact that a few members gripe about cock pics, I tend to show a lot of them and the explanation for my relative popularity could be that simple. But, I also show a wide variety of date reports, other types of pics and general commentary. As I said, I don't pretend to know the answer. But, the phenomenon clearly exists. Whatever is going on here to attract readership, members are looking in at a higher rate than any other thread in the Forum. I am NOT claiming hero-worship status. As I pointed out in the Howard Stern research, those who hated him listened for almost twice as long as his fans, and more than 8 times longer than the average radio listener, and all for the VERY SAME reasons. Whether I want to admit it or not, there is something to be said both for specific appeal as well as raising controversy. Both can draw a crowd. However, I would like to think that thoughtful writing, providing useful information and good pic contributions have an awful lot to do with it.

His Nielsen ratings went through the roof until he was the number one disk jockey in the country as an infamous "shock-jock." I don't pretend I am another Howard Stern, but something about his Nielsen surveys stuck with me: the average radio listener at the time he took the number one slot listened to a radio show for eighteen minutes. The average Howard Stern fan listened for an hour and twenty minutes. The most common answer they gave as to why they did this was: "We want to see what he will say next." Those who hated Howard Stern listened to him for an average of two and a half hours. The most common answer they gave as to why they did this was: "We want to see what he will say next." Whether there is a common "thread" here I can't say, but something is drawing members to read and look at my stuff. I knew there were amateur gynecologists in here. The view count on a pic seems to go WAY up when a girl's legs are spread wide for an unobstructed view of her cootchie.
