Anyone else having issues connecting to the site when iCloud Private Relay is enabled?

Not sure if this is the right thread but has anyone had experience being in an AMP when a bust went down? I'm asking about since the law was changed so that customers may be charged. Did you get arrested or did cops look the other way? I had this experience more than once in the past including a time over a decade ago in which a female uniformed cop actually entered the room and told me and the girl I was with to stay put and we would be OK. However, that was not a prostitution bust. They were looking for a particular girl on a drug warrant.

Since the change in the law, I am getting paranoid particularly about the larger higher profile places. Can anyone report first hand on being arrested?

The public can look up vehicle ownership information if they have a license plate by searching on Hawaii's Ecourt Kokua database. Here is a link to the website.

Just look under the vehicle tab and type in the license plate number. You can also use ecourt kokua to research lawsuit information and criminal case history by searching a person's name.

Thanks for the info. Looks like it will only find license plate numbers for active or past cases though and not a total database search that is probably restricted at the current time.

I used the service before but I can only find the drivers license owner if they got a ticket before. If their record is clean I can't find out who the owner of the license plate belongs to.

You have valid concerns. I wouldn't want to leave an easy breadcrumb trail to be tracked. So far in Hawaii, only first responders (PD, FD, EMS) and DMV workers have access to license plate to car owner's info through the DMV's electronic information system.

Steps for an anonymous monger life:

VPN. Prefer NORD or NORTON VPN $60 a year for either.

If you're going to use a VPN connection make sure you understand the ToS, services like NORD or NORTON VPN's will happily give your info with out warrants, they also log most of if not all of your traffic.

Is there a benefit of using burner phones vs the phone number apps?

I use TextFree and TextNow, which both gives free alternative 808 area code phone numbers. If anything goes wrong I simply delete the app from my phone.

One of the risks of using an app is that they can freeze your account w / o any warning or explanation. That's what happened to me. Now I can't texts from my regulars, like Coco. If you use an app, be sure to keep a separate record of phone numbers.

Read some guys park their own car at the Chinese houses. While that's more convenient than street parking, doesn't that leave a trail for anyone on a stakeout or in the house? Can someone search for the identity of the car owner from his HI license plate number?
