Mondo, you don't need to be concerned about this neighborhood, but according to posts and word of mouth I've heard over the years, this MP has always been somewhat sketchy and mysterious. Opening and closing seemingly randomly is part of their story going back years. The Los Angeles / Eagle Rock dividing line also runs around this area so I wonder if this MP is on the ER side of the boundary. If so, it would be subject to much more LE harassment than the nearby MPs on the L. A. Side, and that may explain their stealthy operations.

I went to an AMP a few weeks ago, and when they are busy, they lock the front door. If you are going and finding the door locked and no answer, they may just be occupied with another client. There was a post elsewhere about a place that was so busy, mamasan asked a monger to wait in his car. So maybe your timing is just bad?

My experience (which is a few years old) is that the neighborhood looks sketchier than it is, tho I never spent any time there after dark. Funny that the location in question (if I spotted the right place) has precious little information posted anywhere that I could find.

I have seen alot of those real estate type lock boxes on some AMP's lately. All of the AMP's were open during business hours, tho, and the lock boxes were left on the door I guess to be used daily. I hit up 3 AMP's in the SFV over the weekend and they all had them so I don't know why those lock boxes are being used. But all of those shops were open for business.

Recently took the plunge and decided to check our temple of bliss. You can find pricing on the website so I won't get into that. And yes, I know it's a lot more expensive than an AMP, but sometimes you just want a 20 something white girl.

I would guess that a different person is opening the shop every day. They don't want to cut 10 keys, because the odds of a girl losing it, or someone taking a key are pretty high. So they put the key in a lockbox, and whoever opens the shop can unlock it, and whoever closes can lock up at the end of the day.
