I'll pick up where I got arrested.

In Ala Moana Hotel, second floor of lobby. Sitting between two cops on a bench. They were waiting for some kind of confirmation by radio from somebody. I'm only guessing here but suspect my conversation with undercover girl was being recorded or filmed. Once they said "ok, its good" or something like that, off we went to the parking lot.

We walked into the covered area of Ala Mona, by the ramp where I was just talking to the undercover girl? The put me in a non-descript white van. One cop sat next to me. The other standing outside. Both were wearing street clothes, local guys, very mellow. Actually nice. I was in handcuffs since they grabbed me. Ugh. The one cop started to explain to me what was about to happen. They were going to take me to main police station, book me, put me in a holding cell for awhile (I have no idea why), then release me if I could make bail. They asked if I had 500 dollars on me. I did. Since I expected to pay 300 for the girl anyway, plus I had extra cash on me, just in case my date went longer. The cop even offered to take me to an ATM if I needed more cash, before the police station.

We sat there for about 20 minutes, not sure why. Finally, we left, went to police station. I got booked, picture taken, finger printed, everyone was very professional and nice. I had no record so obviously they all new I was a first offender. They took all my keys, wallet, phone, belt and put in bag, I signed for it all. Then placed in a cell by myself. I sat there forever it seemed.

Eventually, about an hour passed, I was released. Collected my belongings again and escorted out. I was given a summons (I think that's what its called) to report to court in a few days. I walked out and it was now about 8 PM. My "date" was at 5 PM when this all started. It was now dark. I did the walk of shame from the Police station on Beretania, all the way back to Ala Moana. Got in my car and went home. A little shook up.

Next day, called my personal attorney. Explained what happened. I needed help. He referred me to a real "criminal" attorney, the best. I saw that attorney that same afternoon. I explained all the obvious, but made a point of trying to keep this as quiet as possible, under the radar, and what would it take. He got it.

I paid him 2,500 up front. I was in court about two days later if I remember correctly. It was very matter of fact and quick, it was my arraignment. I was allowed to remain free until my court appearance a few weeks later. I showed up for that and my attorney pleaded for a deferred judgement. That is, if I didn't get in trouble for the next 6 months, my case would be dismissed. A clear record, with my case "expunged". As I understand it, that's NOT normal, you have to ask for that. Since I had no record and the Judge seemed like a nice guy, and my attorney made me look good, the judge granted my expungement, 6 months later, in yet another proceeding. But that was another 10 minute brief process.

M lawyer was one of those guys you see on TV all the time, with the really bad guys! He was very personable, quick, professional, and good at what he did. To him, it was all a matter of fact. To this day I have him to thank for making this all go away quietly. No friends or family ever found out.

Last thing, I still have an "arrest record" on file. That's different. It doesn't say what for or why. But it's there. It is not likely anyone would find it years later. But if someone wanted to, they could be allowed to look for it and after a lot of searching, they'd see it. I can get that removed, but I have to go through another process to do that. Not a can of worms I want to open again. But I'll consider it soon. That can only be done after 5 years since the arrest. This happened in 2012, I think. It's time.

That's it. Stay safe boys. Don't get sloppy or lazy. Follow your gut and you'll stay out of trouble. Yes, the undercover cop was good looking. But our conversation was weird. That should have told me something. I was an idiot.

Then. Suddenly. Less than 30 seconds, police cars came to parking lot and police came to AMP. It took less than 30 seconds.

There was no way to run away. Others inside including horny daytime monger and mama who opened the door, but le just took those two girls in the room. Others had no I'd check up.

Good thing in Hawaii is that in this case, hpd did not yet arrest anyone inside as most counties in mainland does. But I guess if anyone confronts (talk to) le, that person seemed to be arrested.

Nothing is perfect but one thing to remember is to never agree or offer sex or even any kind of touching for money. Remember a few years ago girls on Kauai were getting arrested for lap dances because under the law it amounted to sexual touching for money.

Just plop the funds on the table and see what happens when you take a shower and then ask her if she will let you take offer her top because you are a nice guy. Not for money (always ASK unless you know the person from before). LE set you up to 'meet' your date at the pedestrian bridge from Ala Moana Mall (near Macy's end on second floor) that takes you into lobby of Ala Moana Hotel second floor lobby. It's where I got busted years ago in reverse sting.

You meet your date outside in public where (she tells you in phone call earlier) "I feel safe".

So you show up and see her. Your standing outside and chatting, she's asking 20 questions and all the while you don't see the security camera above watching and recording everything. She tells you she has a room upstairs but screens you first downstairs outside. Once you "commit to paying" her price using certain words, they got you. She says, "Ok, let's go upstairs!" With a smile and you walk in together. Once inside the lobby she starts walking faster way ahead of you and you're kinda distracted, like "what is she doing?

Suddenly you realize two local guys (undercover cops) walk up and get in your face and each guy grabs your arms to ensure you don't run away. Then they flash badges so you k ow you're not being set up fir a genuine robbery. Then they inform somebody else by hand held radio "Ok, we got him!

Meanwhile, the girl disappears. You don't see her again until you show up for your court date.

Listen to your gut. If you think something is fishy, it is. Shut up, turn around and run away. Don't look back.
