You are on target. When I think of the legendary SP's, the ones that come to mind are the ones that have figured this out. But, I have to ad, and maybe it is because I can play a good father (or grandfather) figure, I find that sometimes I am the one empathetically listening. And that is a good thing. Of course, it was one of those SP's that said she appreciated that I listened to her that picked my pocket. So, yeah, two worlds. I can relate to the discussion, but another point to make is that beside the sex end of it, some of these women are very good listeners and a person may express things that they would not express to their SO. Irishman Sort of a therapy session to verbally get things out of your system. Many aspects, but in the end, it is two worlds that shall never collide. All the best with your path forward.

Thanks Camera3 for yours and others in PM who also passed on some words of wisdom. I have made the decision to just move on because I am basically married to an otherwise wonderful woman. Like so many of us forum members we do this because the SO is just not into sex and no amount of special attention we may give them still will not like sex.

I have little advice and, frankly, I am hardly the person to give anyone advice on things of passion or relationships. We could say the obvious, "Don't get emotionally involved with a SP." Then again, maybe it is something that is built into us guys as hunter gatherers to want to somehow rescue someone. Do you feel this lady needs to be rescued?

I do have an observation. I have now dated a few of the ladies that are part of our little neighborhood and find them to be very nice people. In fact, I would go so far as to say that they are the kind I might get emotionally involved with, that is, if I didn't believe strongly in the rule, Don't get emotionally involved with a SP. The ladies I have dated that I met on this forum are a cut above, that is for sure.

There is a book that changed my life a while back. In fact, I have read it several times in my life. The book is Passage: Predictable Crises in Adult Life by Gail Sheehy. I first read it in my 20's when I was facing a crisis of self identity and then again in my mid 30's when I realized I was about half way through life but not half way through the goals of my life. I read it in my 40's when I was going through my second childhood and in my 50's while going through my most recent divorce. Now that I am North of 60 I may need to read it again. I seem to be making some questionable choices and Sheehy seems to be good at helping me at least understand things, even if I don't do anything about it.

In the mean time, I think I am swearing off of BP girls. It's just a lot of work to filter through the shit. And I am frustrated with the SW scene. The two or three girls I wish I could meet almost daily just don't keep regular hours. And my old favorite SW got knocked off my list when she cleaned out my wallet while giving me really great head. USASG, at least in our area of the world, seems to be a solid place to meet SP's. They are top notch. I could see where that might lead to an emotional connection with someone.

In addition to the monger phone I have a thumb drive with Firefox portable installed on it. Just set it to never remember your history in case the drive is found. Otherwise, it will leave no traces on your actual computer because it isn't even installed there. Also works around any of those pesky internet restrictions in places that have them.
