Kellster: thank you for the feedback--I went ahead and cross-posted. I agree that Blackjacks was a bit expensive for my tastes. I figure it's good to pop into these clubs every five years or so for info gathering, even if I wind up TOFTT in terms of the hit to the wallet. For example, I fail to understand the need to charge for parking as they seemed to have plenty of it and the club isn't in a dense urban environment where space is at a premium.

I appreciate your report. Wish we had more reviews on strip clubs on here- of course most of the ones in Chicago are terrible. I'm in the minority on here as I'm one of the few who likes to hit strip clubs provided they don't charge insane prices. Many of the guys on here view them as a waste- that's fine to each their own. I have no idea why Blackjacks charges for parking. Not to go off on a tangent here but Vegas is having their own parking controversy as MGM is now charging customers to park at all of its properties in Vegas which is complete bs. Locals get a reprieve until end of the year. A lot of people including myself are infuriated at it and are boycotting all of their casinos. It just makes no sense. You can only put so many straws on a camels back before it breaks or in this case says screw you and goes elsewhere. Even the vips are ticked off at the principle of it even though they can afford it. Businesses don't get it that once you lose a customer- whether it's a casino, strip club, restaurant, etc. it becomes damn near impossible to bring them back. They'll spend their money elsewhere and get into a new routine.

I can't believe this dump is still open. I remember about 15 years ago I had a buddy that alway's wanted to meet up there. Once in a while I would meet him up there for a beer. After a while they started that crap where it was 2 dollars for parking. Every time I went there I made sure that I had a ziplock bag with 20 dimes in it, the guy would get furious. One night I walked out to my truck and he must have spit on my window like 100 times while I was in the club. I didn't care because I was done with the dump anyway. Right about the time I stopped going, they had a Mexican girl dancing and she was about 6 or 7 months pregnant. Very classy place. SaintChuck.

Hey good report! Just an FYI there's a strip club forum under the Chicago forum tab. That's the best place to put strip club reviews around the Chicago area. It' makes it easier to search since the reports are all in one spot.

Those dances prices are nuts!! Those owners are out of their freakin' minds! How they stay in business is beyond me?? Who pays for $50 nude dances per song consistently in Elgin? Plus pay for parking and the cover? Screw that! That place sounds like a clip joint. I appreciate a decent strip club but not with those insane prices.

SaintChuck: I agree it's good to have these forums where we can share and so that folks don't have to repeat the experiences of others (or, if they have exceptionally fat wallets, they can repeat such experiences).

Man you're lucky they didn't key your car. I'm not that gutsy. I probably would have just paid it then, but never gone back. Fortunately, in the internet age, I can learn about these things ahead of time and save myself time and money from these clip joints and avoid them. Fifty dollar dances haha! I'm having a special- they can take their overpriced clip joint and kiss my backside for $1000 haha!

On Thursday evening I had some free time and decided to visit Blackjacks, as I hadn't been there for over five years. Upon pulling in, the person assigned to lot security said it's three dollars to park, plus $13 for admission; he further said there's no alcohol, but I didn't care about that last part since I was there to see the ladies. Still a $16 initial hit makes you wonder whether or not to proceed. But proceed I did, as I was keen on updating what I knew about the club. What happens is that the lot security fellow takes you inside to the cashier, who then processes both the cover charge and the lot fee.

So once inside I ordered a Diet Coke at the bar: $4 + $1 tip; one should note that their kitchen is open until midnight. Apparently without the burden of the liquor license the club is free to offer both topless and nude dances. I was first approached by Evie, a tall statuesque blonde, about 5'9" or so. I said I would wait, whereupon she advised that there was going to be a club-wide special coming up in a few minutes: topless dances would be 2 for $50 and nude dances would be 2 for $80. (Regular prices are $30/ dance for topless and $50/ dance for nude.) So then via special announcement the DJ called all the women to the stage and, after they were presented, they filtered out into the crowd.

Before Evie got to me, Ariana, a well-endowed Latina with a tight body, approached and asked if I'd like a dance. This time I said yes, and I went for the 2 for $50 topless. I had a lot of fun in the VIP area; Ariana had great dancing skills and was very kind. After the dances are over, one follows the dancer to the cashier where payment is made; I elected to go home as I had somewhere to be shortly thereafter. On my way out, I saw Evie and said that I'd have to catch her next time. Side note: there's one Latina lady who offered back massages for $10. I declined. (If I had more time, I would have like to sampled the one or two African-American dancers, as my tastes run that way.).

Total damage: $3 parking + $13 cover + $4/ drink (and $1 tip) + $50 for two dances = $71 total. I'm still not sure about the value proposition here, as upfront costs seemed a bit high; the dances seemed high as well (in that the regular and discounted prices for topless dances were $30/ song and $25/ song, respectively). At least the DJ didn't cut the songs short. I'm thinking the Mannheim Rd clubs in Melrose Park might be the better deal, or, if one wishes to make the trip, to head out to Bigfoot in Rockford (on which see my post in that forum for a visit on Friday, 6/3.), but then one has to keep in mind the cost of gas.

I always say "after" when they ask. I've never had a girl refuse service when I do this.

Agreed. I was just at World this afternoon. I totally went off the grid and tried Korean (not usually my thing). Drew Young. Cute enough / really good massage / but on the flip, she said the min upgrade was. 60 / I offered. 4 and finally went up to. 5 - she still insisted on. 6, so I told her to just forget it and finish the massage. You know the end. I paid the. 5 and got to hear her say (at least 3 times) "next time you pay more". I won't be returning any time soon. I had intentionally been avoiding all the Korean Spa's for this reason. B42.

That is the most valuable thing that I have learned from this site. When it comes to extras, hold your ground and don't give in. A few weeks ago in Gilberts the girl wanted. 6 for a standard handshake. I told her no way, I would never pay that much and then I told her she could just finish the massage. After a few minutes she realized that I wasn't going to cave in and she ended up taking her shirt off and giving the handshake. I always wondered when the girls give the "next time you pay more" line, do they actually think that you are going to come back. Are any of you guys actually paying this? I just said okay then give me $100 back and got the standard ok but next time you pay $120. I pay the $100 because for $20 more then an apartment you get an actual massage.
