I am not into SW's but I know that some of you Mongers in this thread are looking for SW's. I saw something very interesting in Elgin today. It was around 12:15 PM and I was at the intersection of McLean and Big Timber. I was heading south on McLean and got stuck at the red light. I have lived in the Fox Valley area for my entire life and to the best of my knowledge there has never been an AMP in Elgin. The only thing I can remember is that there was a FS AMP in South Elgin, but that got shut down because the woman was giving FS about 20 yards away from a busy day care. LOL. I am actually a bit shocked that nobody has opened an AMP in Elgin, the population is at least 120,000 and they are building all kinds of strip malls on the far west side of the city. SaintChuck.

This entire area is pretty dry for the most part. People here tend to be very straight-laced. I am surprised there is an AMP in Waconda or in the other areas that have been discussed here on this forum. Elgin is a big town getting bigger, so it is a surprise there is not more action around here. I agree with SaintChuck on this one.
