This is a common thing in many parlors. Usually, there are two girls working and they take turns answering the door, to ensure each gets her share. But when a customer asks for a particular girl they try to ignore the request, if possible, to get the business. If they turn a customer away, there is a chance he won't come back. If you've never met a girl and go in and ask "Are you Barbie? You're screwed, because she will say yes no matter what.
