Such practices shall include, but not be limited to, the Feldenkrais Method; Reflexology; The Trager Approach; Ayurvedic Therapies, Rolf Structural Integration, Polarity or Polarity Therapy; Polarity Therapy Bodywork; Asian Bodywork Therapy that does not constitute massage as defined in this chapter; Acupressure; Jin Shin Do; Qi Gong; Tui Na; Shiatsu; Body–Mind Centering and Reiki. These exempt practitioners may use the terms 'bodywork', 'body worker' and 'bodywork therapist' in their promotional literature.

My guess is if they are using the licensing angle, will impact places at different times. Basically when it is time to renew. Sucks if your license is up now, but places that have time hopefully can figure out how to get around the BS.

That's interesting and suggests that can't acquired Highland which to my recollection never had a rep for FS or even decent HE for that matter. I don't know! Just giving you Guys a Heads-up of a few unannounced Closings and the Chatter east of you. As Lusty said, they don't all close, if State clamps down. Just have to see what happens, but don't be surprised.

Closed. Will not reopen. Licensing issues which can't be resolved. Not busted or anything to worry about, just pointless bureaucracy at work. It's a sad day in Watch City.

Both 1060 and 139 are also dark and closed right now.

I spoke with a friend today who is somewhat inside the AMP business and the rumor is that there is going to be a big shakeup in the AMP business coming soon in Mass. Apparently, they are going to really start enforcing the rules and Waltham was just the start today. Get those cell phone numbers and WeChat handles while you can. According to my conversation with some parlor owners, 70% of the shop will get shut down due to licensing issue. All these owner share info in their Wechat group, 70% of the owner get a letter from the state saying their license are not legit and will need to shut down. They could appeal, but it's unlikely many will do.
