There are some changes going on here at silk! For the better! We've cut some of the riff raff. Hours are a little irregular at the moment while changes take place. Please be patient. Good things come to those who wait There will be a daily update on hours via BP till everything is said and done. Here today, Thursday, 12-8.

When a business posts an ad saying that they are open, they should at least answer the phone as if they were actually open.

I remembered seeing an article from around this time last year about one of the owners of this business being charged with a bunch of crimes relating to criminal domestic violence and weapons possession, and I remember it bothering me that the article had printed his address as Business Circle (where Silk is located, strictly commercial area). It seemed like something of a disguised attempt at calling out what line of business he was in. This situation really turned me off from visiting Silk again until very recently. (PM for details on the article, I don't think the mods will let me post it here.).

When I walked in there last Saturday night I immediately knew I made a terrible mistake. There were three or four girls there, but my concern was the alternately screaming / crying guy behind the bar (the owner from the article). This man was clearly beyond drunk and from what I could gather from him and a couple of the girls (as they basically ignored me to attend to the guy's screams) this guy was dating one of the girls working there (blonde, thin woman) who he seemed to be extremely angry with and two other girls were trying to keep the blonde, thin woman from going behind the bar. Their efforts seemed to wane a bit once they realized a customer was watching this craziness, but I was already on my way out the door. On my way out, a different girl ran over to me and apologized for the situation and indicated that the owner was having a hard time because they were closing after that night and he was going to jail. It was difficult to understand everything she said, as she had a very heavy Spanish accent (not to mention it was difficult to hear over the music and wails of the owner.) She asked if I wanted to go to a room to discuss a session, but I declined. At that point I was almost out the door before the owner seemed to realize a customer was walking out. He began yelling at me to get my attention, but when I ignored him he decided to scream "Fine, F* you, asshole. This was the last chance you were going to get here!" I went to my car pretty rattled and confused as to what I had just encountered. I left quickly, but that article regarding this guy's violent crimes left me worried about the safety of the girls.

It would be shocking to me if this place doesn't close down, as this was the atmosphere of a business that was about to violently implode. I haven't seen them advertise on BP all week, so maybe they have closed. And maybe that is for the best. What I saw will have me forever looking differently at any owner of a place like this. This man was clearly being abusive to his employees. When I used to come in Amber was almost always working and I only ever saw the guy a few times. Shame on Amber for allowing her girls to be subjected to such a maniac.

This isn't my story to tell but after working there for years I feel inclined to defend Amber. The article and charges referred to were against Amber. I've stayed friends with girls there and know Amber left for her own safety. She loved Silk Stockings and the clients of the club. She would not have voluntarily left them. She was ran out. The guy mentioned was her husband and he is in jail now. I'm not sure what will happen now. Heard the place maybe sold and ran as the same kind of business by a new owner but I can't say for sure. Please give the place another try and don't give Amber such a hard time. She was or is a victim and has lost much already. She was such a big part of the place I was sorry to hear about all that happened. I know a lot of people have mad love and respect for her.

Yes she is! The pictures do not indicate whos working each day. I suggest just giving a call to make sure! Our schedules change up a bit each week.

Ava 25 (this is John from Raleigh). I am the one that told you about this site last fall. I am sorry that I have missed you on my last 2 trips to the area. I have learned that you are no longer working on Saturdays.

Over the years I have enjoyed some visits to Silk. I must say that AVA is the best I have ever seen. Good at her job and a pleasant person. Ava I do hope that I will be able to get there on a day that you are working again in the future.

Yes, Indeed this is the same Kat. If you have seen her before and she recognizes you, your chances are good. She just takes time to warm up to newbies and those she does not recognize.

Very hot on the outside but not so much on the inside. Hopegully she had seen the light. I'd love a repeat with her with a better attitude but still will mousy likely poor her on a back burner until I hear more good things myself.

I was in last week looking to enjoy some time with my usual but in the line up Kat just stood out. She was wearing stockings and a dress shirt, her ivory skin was just glowing so I had to. The show was great, yes I said great. Kat has had the reputation in the past of being kinda stand-offish but I think she has seen the light. Kat was attentive and caring and I believe she enjoyed her self and as long as I believe it then it is okay with me. Kat is 21 with long black hair and a thin firm body. If you have seen her before I would recommend a repeat. First timers I am just not sure on that.

Honestly what we experience here is no different than the hobby overall. We go out expecting and hoping we have a great experience. When we don't we cool on it, and then knowing that there are likely different ladies working here, we return again in hopes of having that great experience again.

I must say that my experiences at Silk have been more on the good side than the bad, but I must say this with some context. I was an avid (like John) customer back in the day when they were on meeting street. I too would venture a couple of times a day some times. Since the move, the consistency has not been what it was. I've been fortunate in that regard in that though my visit frequency has dropped significantly, the times I have ventured there have been decent. I will also say this though, in the past few years, I have found myself trying to open a locked door when I was there within the posted hours. I have also been there several times and been disappointed with the quality of the ladies there. I have no problem turning around and leaving if I don't see anybody that interests me.

This takes me back to what Amber could do to improve things.

1) Expand the hours and actually be open for all posted hours. In the past if the place closed at 1 AM, they did not turn you away at 12:30. This is just good business.

2) Post some pictures of the girls either on a website or on backpage. Nothing like some good marketing would ensure that you have a steady flow of customers during those expanded hours.

3) Heck offer up some sort of special every once in a while. This provides customers with a chance to see your place and evaluate your ladies without the typical cost. If the quality is there, they will come back at the regular rates.

4) This one is a serious, but could be considered a joke. How about a frequent customer card. Granted few would take it because we want no trace of our hobby, but for those that patronize your establishment on a frequent basis, perhaps a discount on the house fee after your 10th visit. Just an idea. You never know. Again think guerrilla marketing!!

As for me. I will likely visit again in the next few months if the mood strikes me, but if the girls aren't up to par, I'm off to an AMP or a BP provider with reviews and pictures. That's the market that you face.

I agree on most counts.

1) They don't have to expand the hours much Maybe do 6-10 or 8-12 M-T and 6 P-2 A on Friday and Saturday to better accommodate the schedules of the average monger. The trick is actually being open those days and times.

2) Pictures of the girls would be a good idea. They can blur out faces, tattoos and or other identifying marks but let's be real here, no one wants to make the trip for a crap shoot.

3) I don't know about the special thing. I have never even thought about going for a BP discount ($40 all night long!) so I can't imagine doing it there. Then again, if service improved, it wouldn't be necessary.

4) The frequent flyer card isn't a bad idea but it would need to be disguised extremely well.

I would add that the first few times I went in, I got massages, dances etc. Before "the business. " That kind of went away after a while and the formula changed. It became: pick a girl, go to room, pay girl, she leaves, comes back in, locks door, takes off clothes and says "ok how do you want to do this?" There's NOTHING sexy about it at all.

If we're being honest, this place is NOT the place to go for a GFE but what I just described, even if you get FS, is barely more than jerking off with help. As soon as you're done, you're out. It doesn't matter if you paid for 30 minutes and only ten has passed (we don't go in there when we're getting laid a lot elsewhere).
