Yes, Steam Spa is a little creepy, I never noticed any ants, but there is a lot of mold. Even so, I think the service there is excellent, though I have never seen any of the latinas that they advertise.

As far as the no massage thing, you have to remember that many of the spas have been busted lately for the only thing the law can get them on, "unlicensed massage". So, yes, they are being a little cautious, but they have their reasons. From now on, you should try to remember to say you want a body rub, or body lotion.
