This week I stopped in at Angel Spa on Mt Houston just E of I-45. I had a good session with Anna. Great rack, friendly, easy to be with, a skilled, experienced sexual performer. This time it was loud aggressive orchestra music like you'd get in a Star Wars movie. I'm not aware of any sure-fire way to tell if any particular establishment is Chinese or Korean without actually going in and applying a number of "litmus tests". You could try using the Google-Translate app on your phone to learn a polite greeting phrase in both Chinese (Mandarin) and Korean, and then call the place and try one of those phrases and see if you get any recognition from the person that picks up, but that's just as likely to get either a Hang-Up or a reply in a Chinese or Korean phrase that you don't understand! LOL!

One aspect to be aware of is that the ethnicity of MANAGEMENT (or usually Mamasan) is most likely going to dictate service practices of the attendants, and it is not totally unusual for a Chinese-run AMP to have Korean (or Malaysian, Thai, Vietnamese, etc.) girls, or for a Korean-run AMP to have Chinese girls. This can make it less straight-forward regarding how services are going to turn out.

The various "litmus tests" to make an educated guess at whether you have a Korean or Chinese AMP and / or attendent is not always 100% accurate, but GENERALLY speaking, my personal experience (coupled with what I've learned or been told by others) turns up the following cultural characteristics:

Korean girls are generally raised from childhood (cultural) to turn out to be more "pampering" in service of their partner and more respectful of others. This manifests itself with a Korean AMP girl doing things like helping you off and on with your clothes, including holding your shirt / underwear / pants, helping on with socks, shoes, and seeing that your hair is in place (if you have more than I do). Chinese girls make no effort in this area at all.

Korean's are also are more likely to avoid discussion of money, sometimes not mentioning it until the end, and perhaps not at all once you're a regular customer, and they are more likely to be flexible on the tip. Chinese girls are ALL ABOUT THE MONEY! You pay at the door, and the tip is bluntly agreed upon, and PAID, up front as soon as you get in the room or immediately after the flip and before there is ANY hint of "action. " Tipping at Chinese places is usually based on a firm rate schedule with no variance (unless you try to "walk out" over a tip requirement more than you want to pay). The general attitude of a Chinese place / girl is more about the business transaction, while Koreans seem to do a better job of offering (fake) passion and GFE-type service, often including DFK, DATY, BBBJ, DATO, and even cuddling afterward..

Your explanation is wonderfully accurate and echoes my experiences in Houston and the SF Bay Area. In general, I prefer Koreans.

Next stop was Traveler Spot Spa on JFK. Occupancy Limit 20. I pressed the bell & an overweight middle-aged blond came to the window showing some saggy cleavage & chewing some green gum. She explained that for $60 I'd get an hour with table shower & lotion rub down. I saw a sign behind her & asked about it.

If you hand over your ID, they'll just glance at it and give it back. They won't copy down any info; however, they may ask you a few vetting questions. They have a high level of paranoia; however, this shouldn't cause you to become paranoid. Prior to your massage, you'll empty the contents of your pockets into a clear plastic bag. The bag goes into a lock box. That being said, it's a good idea to leave your wallet, phone, etc. In your vehicle. An an aside, remember, this establishment is not licensed to give massages. They're very clear that they only provide "body rubs". If you ask for a massage, they'll remind you. It's all very legalistic, but there's nothing to be concerned about.

The Korean girls are more likley to be dressed in a Teddy / Negligee or super-short skin-tight dress, often with no underware and artfully applied glamour make-up, while Chinese girls are more likely to be dressed in drab clothing and little-to-no make-up. Korean places are also more likely to always have FS available, while Chinese places are (sometimes) just as likely to have limited services of a "Jack-Shack" as they are FS, so it can be a coin-flip. The benefit of information sources, such as this board, is that you can pretty reliably figure out where the FS places are and shop accordingly. Korean places are also more likely to ALWAYS have a table shower available and have generally "cleaner" facilities and more fastidiously "clean" girls (they clean that gash with amazing skill and thoroughness). Some of the Chinese places may not offer a table shower (particularly if it's just a Jack-Shack), and some are known to RE-USE table linens, or table towels, and I've even seen one Chinese place clean and re-use condoms (I'm sure that's not common. At least I hope not).

On the plus side for the Chinese places, they seem overall more skilled at actual therapeutic massage, and you're more likely to have an attendent that has the ability to deliver a good muscle-kneeding (if you want it). Some (not all) of the Korean places offer almost no massage, or lame skin rubbing by girls that haven't spent any time developing the skill.

Finally, all of the cultural characteristics found in most Korean places leave me with more of a sense of "connecting" with the attendent, which helps build a level of trust that I often don't have to the same degree at a Chinese place. For some reason, I have absolutly no concern that I'm going to be ripped off or have my wallet or personal belonging rifled through at a Korean place, as they just seem SO honorable and trustworthy. Not that Chinese places / girls are not honorable or trustworthy. I'm sure most all of them are, but they don't do anything to help convince me of that.

I'm sure there are other traits that an experienced hobbyist, or even traveler of Asian countries, would be able to discern, and all the OPINION I've offered above is only based on the AMP scene, so take it all with a grain of salt. The best advice would be to keep your eyes open for these things, and maybe try that Korean greeting when you walk in the door so you can witness the reaction of the woman you're speaking with! LOL!

For those that may not know. . . This is CLASSIC Korean behavior. For apparent cultural reasons, Korean places (with Korean girls) are usually more focused on serving and pampering the man and they are more likely to offer more intimate services (such as DATO, BBBJ, etc.), and almost always will try to help you on with your shirt, socks, pants, and shoes! Chinese places / girls, on the other hand, are almost ALWAYS more focused first on the money (pay tip FIRST), and more likely to up-sell for each (every) additional level of service, while also being more likely to either rush the client at, at least, watch the clock like a hawk.

I always prefer Korean places, when you can find them!
