Is not the point I want to make here. What is outrageous is our nanny government taking away any freedoms they can. I don't know if any of you have read John Stuart Mills' essay "On Liberty" written in the late 1800's. He was an Englishman of all things. Yet he stated.
"That the only purpose for which power can be rightfully exercised over any member of a civilized community, against his will, is to prevent harm to others. His own good, either physical or moral, is not a sufficient warrant. Over himself, over his body and mind, the individual is sovereign. ".
People argue that prostitution is not a victimless crime. Maybe it is. Maybe it isn't. But what two consenting adults do between themselves is sovereign. Maybe outlaw letting it affect a third party, such as bringing home a disease to the wife. That makes more sense. Outlawing prostitution only reinforces the wife's behavior of neglecting her husband.
Admin, I am sorry if I am getting too political here. Maybe this is for another forum. I do hope you don't delete this post. Because this needs to be said somewhere. Move it there if you have to. This country is changing for the worst. We will all lose our liberty if we don't stand up for it.
Well, it's not like there's going to be any Craigslist Advertiser Reviews.
Amnesty International says that anti prostitution laws that criminalize the hobby is what creates "victims."
https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/ne...-human-rights/
And the great Rhode Island mistake proves that there is a link between legal prostitution and rape but not what these fuckers wished it would be
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...=.7a5809d506bf
This is empirical proof that legal prostitution cuts down on rape, so I can only guess that the 98 Senators who got on board with this want women to be raped more.

Identifying the spam / scams wasn't the problem. That was pretty easy. The issue is that there was so little legit content (IMO) that it was a full time job for little opportunity of reward. I've not been a social media person. I suppose that may have to change.

I understand and agree with your overall point. However, CL had become mostly spam and scams. My experience was that there was very little in the way of legit ads being posted.
I did make 2 or 3 connections from CL, but it took hundreds of responses. Almost all of which generated nothing but spam and scam emails I still get. The last ad I posted there garnered over 300 responses in about 4 hours. None were legit.
I disagree with the law that has resulted in the end of CL personals, but CL specifically is not that big a loss IMO.
Be careful,
Z.

It seems that our government in its never ending endeavor to establish itself and guide us children as our nanny has once again taken another little "no-no". Craigslist personals has been taken down:
And I quote:
"US Congress just passed HR 1865, "FOSTA", seeking to subject websites to criminal and civil liability when third parties (users) misuse online personals unlawfully.
Any tool or service can be misused. We can't take such risk without jeopardizing all our other services, so we are regretfully taking craigslist personals offline. Hopefully we can bring them back some day.
To the millions of spouses, partners, and couples who met through craigslist, we wish you every happiness!

Lets see-giving credit card info to someone who could be either a thief, extortionist, or uncle. Even if you get a nod from another member-just too much to go wrong there.

Got a link to this when responding to a craigslist ad today.
She goes by Miss Brianna. She has a website and snapchat info on the website, but I am finding no info on her in the limited searching I can do at work. Last 4 are 9260.
Anyone seen her before? Attractive, curvy, mostly redhead, though it changes in some pics. Expects you to prepay through her website before meeting the first time, because she claims to only accept cash from established clients. Sounds really sketchy to me.

Texting apps are anonymous so this is all just huffing and puffing but. Food for thought. These girls won't hesitate to ruin a life plus I'm sure they do keep contact info so never use real contact info. Too many apps that will let you use a different number for free to risk it.
