Does Michele still have orange hair? I've been with her twice in the past pre-orange hair and always had a good time. I don't have a big jr. But she makes it feel big LOL.

Thank you, made me confident enough that I didn't have to cut my trip short to rush back to the border. Ended up leaving the Zona at 12:17 and walked right through CBP with no line, and was on the last train back which pulled out of the station at 12:47.

I hadn't been in a couple of years, my takeaways from this visit were:

Hong Kong still has the hottest putas and was busy when I got there at 8:30, but by 10:00 it was so packed you couldn't get a seat and it was too hot for me.

Tropical was less crowded, had a decent selection a few that did not meet my standards offset by a few diamonds in the rough, but my lack of Spanish made it a challenge to communicate with the girls I talked to.

Chicago was busy and had girls many of whom were close to on par with Hong King's offerings. Spent a great hour in a booth right next to the jacuzzi show making out with a hot little thing from Mexico City, but ended up very surprised when she eventually told me she doesn't go arriba.

While the trolley does run until 12:45 the last trolley leaving the border is packed to the gills with every meth'd out homeless person in the area. I'm a big guy who looks like he can handle himself but even I was a bit sketched out. The car I was in had me and two CBP guys who had just gotten off duty and then about a dozen homeless who had taken over the end of the car and looked like they were setting up camp for the night. I was nervous enough about it that I ended up getting off the train about halfway to downtown at the well lit park and ride where the CBP guys had parked and then getting an Uber the rest of the way.

The trolley / train service ended surprisingly early on my last visit some years ago. You'll have to Uber or Lyft your way back to SD if you're coming back at 2 am.

I can't say that I was really bothered by the search itself. It's the dude who pulled out his phone and took a photo from about 20 feet away that I found weird. As for refusing, I didn't get an "option" for it. Some random border agent there just did it.

Either way, I wasn't inclined to make a scene in another country and with a language barrier to top it off. The guy who searched me said I was good and sent me on my way.

I used to get $5 all the time a year ago when the dollar was over 19, but now that it is 16 or so you will not get it that cheap except as I have noted. Also, I just do not feel like squeezing these taxi drivers for every last penny. They make shit and I use them so much I am on a first name basis with several of them. I tip the bathroom guy a dollar every time I go in too, even though I could walk out and they would say nothing. Just because Tijuana is cheap does not mean you should be. You can be generous with everybody you meet and it will still be very inexpensive for a great time.

As for the kids in the line on the way back, I love giving away all my extra $1 bills to the kids as I walk back in the sentri line. Just last week I ran out of one dollar bills and was one kid short of giving each of the kids around me a dollar, ended up giving the last cute little girl a 20. The look on her face when when she ran to her little brother and showed it to him was worth far more to me than a lap dance that night. Honestly, take an extra $20 with you and be a little generous outside the club, it will make you feel ever better about your trip to pussy land.
    Wise words.

I've probably crossed a few hundred times over 4 years. I've been searched once, not by the guy at the booth but there are soldiers near the x-ray machines. One choose me to search and asked if I had any bullets. So I will confirm it can happen but it's extremely rare, way less than 1 percent of the time.

Also, I know TitanTool is trying to help but never ever give a taxi driver $10 to give you a 2 minute ride to HK. I have never had to pay more than $6. Most times I can get it for $5 but if I don't feel like haggling I have given into the $6 tab once in a while because of inflation and all. If you give them $10, they're laughing behind your back. Better to just take the HK limo / shuttle both ways. You don't need a coupon, just tip the driver a couple bucks and that's it. Another alternative is to Uber both ways if you can get your data to work. Should only come out to $3-$5.

Definitely ignore the guys with the taxis right as soon as you walk out into TJ. You want the ones to the right.

When I got to HK, there was no line. Security was definitely thorough.

Google Translate will be your friend so don't be afraid to use it if you aren't fluent in Spanish.

One more thing: for getting back to the border from Hong Kong, print out the coupon from their website for using their shuttle. No VIP membership is needed. It saved me a lot of time and probablu headache not needing to find a taxi that wasn't shady as fuck. I just tipped the driver a bit as a courtesy and matter of principle.

Also, when walking back, there were a bunch of small kids waiting right there asking for money. They are fucking persistent.
I have been going several times a week for years. If you do not care about saving every last penny, the taxis right as you walk out are very reliable and will take you to HK for $10 and be happy. On Saturday night they might try to charge you a little more, just confirm the price before you get in. If you really want to save a little money on taxi, walk along the sidewalk to the right for about a block and you will come to the place the taxi's drop people off who are returning to the border. These taxis will then go get in the taxi line and wait up to an hour to get their next fare from the people arriving. They are thrilled to not wait in that line and pick you up at the drop-off location and give you a bargain. Often they will do it for $5 because it saves them waiting in the taxi line. I always pay them at least 7 when I do that, even if they only want 5. I would not walk it, I do not consider it entirely safe and $10 does not matter to me at all.

You can always ride the HK shuttle for free ($2 tip) and it picks up near the same drop_off location you get the cheap taxi's. It will likely take you 15 minutes longer to get there as they wait to fill it and drive slow. Again, I usually just pay the 10. Coming back I take the free shuttle. No need to print out the coupon, it is free for everybody. Just go up to the podium outside the club and say you need the shuttle. Also, I trust the taxi's, just always ask the price before you get in. The orange ones and green ones are both very reliable. If I am in a hurry I grab a taxi in front of HK. Other than a taxi charging me too ich when I forget to ask price in advance, I have never had a problem with a taxi and I have rode in a taxi there at least 500 times over the years. I go to all sorts of other places, mostly restaurants and dance clubs.

Uber's or Taxi's are available all the time. The last trolley leaves San Ysidro at 12:45 am. You should leave yourself about a hour to cross the border.

    Getting around in TJ

I realize this is a reports thread so delete if not allowed.

    Good evening gents.

Visiting SD in April from rainy old Portland for a golf / wedding trip and will be hopping cross the border and spending two nights at Cascadas.

Unfortunately I'll be lugging around a set of golf clubs and a carry on when headed over the border so I wanted to go and play a couple courses on the coast.

    https://www.realdelmargolfresort.com/

    https://www.golfbajamar.com/

I've never used Uber down there personally and have only used taxis around town, would either of these even be feasible to get to either of these destinations? Is there a reputable transportation company I could use that anyone is aware of? Should I just jump back across the border and play in SD? Would really appreciate any recommendations. If anyone wants to swing some clubs let me know.

    Regards,

    Jon.

Question: Uber or taxi availability late night?

    HK & Tropical

Went on a weds with a buddy. No line to get in and no wait to come back. Had passport and told the guy we were going to HK. Let us through without a problem. Limo was right there which was easy. Gave 7 as a tip to driver.

Plenty of girls on a Wednesday shortly after 2000 (8 pm). Grab a beer and walked around. $5 per beer.

Didn't see anything we wanted so went to Tropical. Found a pair we liked and enjoy chit chat and headed up to different rooms. Room was 40 and my buddy and I negotiated price to 100-120. After session we went back to HK.

New girls rounding around 2200 (10 pm). Walked around enjoyed the shows. Grab another beer and chilled. Wanted to get another session in, but had to head back.

Will be heading to HK within the next week.

Great idea with the expired DL for those that take taxi there.
This is exactly why. I've only stayed there while driving in and you don't leave an ID behind. Because there is a (like in a parking lot) gate they have to open in order for you to drive out. They check the room before they allow you to drive away.

Not sure how much checking they do. Back in 2010 or so a couple in one of the rooms noticed a smell and a dead girl was discovered underneath one of the beds. This was well documented on the old TJA site.
