My passport is expired. Does anyone know the wait times on new passports? I think I remember reading someone saying I could go visit with an expired passport, but that seems far fetched.

A relative of mine sent his application in mid March, just as the whole Covid thing exploded and he finally got his passport first week of September.

Damn hypocrisies will inhibit growth and eventually destroy our society. Mexico and most Catholic countries in Europe and Latin America are all fucked up due to the hypocrisy of their religious and social institutions.

It would be nice if CA had Eros centers like they have in Germany. This would allow guys to have access for workig girls at a reasonable price. This probably would never happen with the constant hype of human trafficking.

Back in the 70's and 80's prostitutes were lining the streets of all major US cities. Russian diplomats made video tapes of hookers lining up all along NY and Pennsylvania avenues, Dupont Circle etc all night under the snow. They presented to the world the the poverty and corruption realities in the US. The Reagan admin was shamed enough that it mobilise massive federal resources, funding locals to train cops and attorneys, raid and prosecute all forms of prostitution.

States, counties, cities all receive some kinds of federal grants. They can decide not to investigate and prosecute prostitution, but if the Feds wants it done, they just have to with hold or cancel federal aids and locals would just have to comply.

IMO unlike marijuana issue, avoiding prosecuting prostitution would only make the problem worse.

The girls would advertise publicly, hang out on streets, accosting guys, creating public nuisance. Good women on the streets may be confused as prostitutes and lewdly accosted by men. Average citizens would lose the streets to hookers and pimps.

Counties and cities cannot enforce health or zoning codes, working conditions, taxation ect. When the laws make them illegal and should be in jail.

With anti-prostitution laws in the book, assholes can complain, I. E. Public nuisance ect and force local authorities to prosecute.

Being illegal without protection by laws, working girls and children are subjected to trafficking, exploitation, abuse, drugs addiction, causing other crimes.

Prostitutes should be allowed to conduct business how and where not violating the rights of the community. Their trade should be made legal and regulated, protected and taxed like all other businesses.

May be some women groups in a liberal county like San Francisco can take the leadership role and drive a change in state laws for the sake of their oppressed sisters.

If the LA County district attorney decided not to prosecute prostitutes, the state shouldn't have anything to do with it.

So it would be up the the state if they would allow LA county to decriminalize it, of if they wanted to fight them over it. If anything, it would be better (and easier) if the state just decriminalizes it, and allows the individual counties and cities to decide what they want to do about it.

Anyone know if NB Elite Men's Spa is open and worth going to? I've seen mixed reviews on how good the place is. Birthday number 45 is coming up in a few weeks, and I'm thinking of heading down there but I want to avoid the ZN area if possible. I wouldn't mind a spa place that pampers you a bit, and then offers you some "extra services" as part of the pampering. All of the links on their website do not work, and their twitter page hasn't had any activity for a couple years. Although their Facebook page is fairly active and make's it look like they are open. Or if someone has a better recommendation, I would love to hear that too!

Hello fellow mongers! How is crossing the boarder like during this time? Has anyone run into any issues crossing back and forth? Been really wanting to go but don't want to go alone haha.

The border crossing is suppose to be restricted, but it's been loosely enforced. It really depends on the time of day, and the mood of the person you meet crossing both ways. The Mexican agents usually don't care as long as you give them a decent answer. Although saying that you're crossing for medical related appointment at 8 pm on a Friday night is clearly a lie. The American agent can sometimes give you a bunch of grief, and if you piss them off, you may end up in the secondary screening. They'll usually end up telling you that you did a bad thing crossing for no real reason, and end being stuck there for several hours as they screen you.

There is usally no problems crossing during the day. I would avoid crossing back in mornings from 5-10 am. There is often many going to work and so there could be a long line.

How safe is the parking lot on the US side of the boarder? Compared to the average parking lot, safer or less safe? Does anyone know of any break ins? How about overnight?

I park at the palm Ave trolley station then rode the train to the last stop. Done it 20 plus times and never an issue. I've left my car there for up to 5 days. Easiest way to go IMO.

Cascada is nice, clean, safe, cool. Have not heard of any security problems.

You can sleep in the same room where you bring the girls, nice, clean, quiet, comfortable with central air.
