My buddies and I usually get there by 3-4 pm. Tip a waiter on the way in and tell him to get you a table. We settle down and then are good for the next 8 hrs. It does get crowded but when you have a hot Latina grinding on you you won't care. There are plenty to go around and as long as one bro is at the table the rest can roam or go upstairs.

Don't try to use pesos unless you are really comfortable with exchange rates. It's easy to screw yourself if you tend to think of 18:1 as close to 20:1 and use that as a shorthand (you think 1600 pesos is $80 but it's really almost $90). Pretty much everything in the zona is pegged to the dollar -- so if you are at the clubs paying dollars is basically the same as pesos. Street girls are the big exception, and you will save a lot of money using pesos with them.

I'm sure you have enough information to make a go in TJ. You'll find guys black, Chinese, Mexicans, whites anything under the sun. As long as you got money, you'll be fine. Don't worry about not speaking Spanish. I would recommend though downloading a translation app and downloading the Spanish offline option. This way if you don't have service in TJ, you can still communicate with the girls. If your looking for a cheap thrill with a big ass girl and it happens to be a street girl, you might need the translate. Well worth it when your only paying $20 for a nice fuck. If you have to go at night, consider some of the smaller clubs. Hong Kong will be packed at night with hundreds of women, but also hundreds and hundreds of men -- competition is fierce, there are no seats, and girls see no need to even stop and chat with you when they'd rather be looking for a guy who will take them upstairs right away. But if you go to Chicago Club, Adelita Bar or even some of the smaller clubs like Bar Tropical, Las Chavelas, or La Gloria, you might have more fun. Also, consider the street girls. Good value and some of them are as hot as any bar girl.

As has been said before, there are no bad times to visit, but there are some times that are better than others.

This is my opinion, Saturday afternoon will be good. I think the earlier in the afternoon the better. It gets crowded Saturday night, especially in the clubs, which may have a line to get in. But nights are actually full of energy if you are walking around the block.
