In 20+ years of Tijuana activities I have seen one health card. Didn't ask (actually, never asked any of the chicas) - the girl, who had been a regular for over 3 years, proudly showed me her "Hooker License. " Don't remember how it came up, maybe she had just received a new card.

Yes, in this case it had her real name. I have had one other chica tell me she was able to beat the system and get a card under an assumed name. She didn't want a record of her activities in case it would interfere with her eventually getting a visa. So, there may be something to that, although I can't imagine Mexico being too cooperative with US agencies these days.

I'm applying for a green card and so got familiar with what can bar you from getting one. Regarding prostitution, you have to either be a pimp or a prostitute (but not a client, thus why I checked these rules, although it could be considered a crime of moral turpitude, which definition is very very vague on purpose). So if one has been prostituting him or herself within the past 10 years, this is indeed an automatic bar to get a green card. And I wouldn't be surprised that Mexico and US share criminal records, but in that case showing a health card should not be a problem, but maybe they are just extra careful.

And how many senoritas were willing to show you theirs? During my three years of regularly crossing the border I never asked to see one and no lady ever volunteered to show me one. Two reasons a guy may not be shown a card:

1) Presumably they have the lady's real names on them;.

2) Rumor was that if a gal had a health card and later wanted to apply for a US green card, the US would have access to the Tijuana health records and she would be denied for that reason alone.

Yes, I have seen one. And yes, it does have their real name. I suspect that's one reason they are hesitant to show it. I'm not convinced that's why though. I say that because, if you use an escort at a hotel you are staying at, there is a good chance you'll learn their name when the reception desk calls you. But I also know the girls are extremely sensitive to exposure.

I have not heard that rumor about the green card. That is interesting.

I've never required to see it before a session. The one girl that did show me hers was just in a conversation. Personally, I think you have to take it with a grain of salt. I don't put a ton of stock in it because alot can happen in the 30 days since the last visit. But I am a bit reassured when thinking about Tijuana vs US. Depending on where you play domestically, it's a safe bet that some of these girls are not seeking medical testing every 30 days.

The last piece I would add. Depending on where you shop in Tijuana, there are some assumptions you can make. HK, for example, absolutely requires the card. Standing girls are a pretty safe bet they have them or they would be exposed to alot of police corruption. (I've personally witnessed an example where a girl had to pay a "fine".) Escorts are a little more mysterious to me. I suspect the rules vary agency to agency. But the one girl that showed me hers and explained the process was an escort.

FWIW. Even with the girl that was so informative, I did not opt for BBFS. And I don't think asking to see their card will increase the chances of BBFS. Nor would I recommend BBFS. We play in a risky game. That would be the ultimate risk, and for me, not one I'm willing to take. I'm not at all judging those that do so. We all have our own risk scale. I just wanted to share what I know.

Personally, I've never taken that chance with any escort. I suppose the health card requirement does offer some small reassurance. But I can say, everything is negotiable in Tijuana. Certainly not every girl. And few girls will admit it. But yes. It's available.

So, I just got an email from Hong Kong. They are indeed having a Fourth of July celebration. It does not say in the ad what they are planning on doing, but the girl in the ad has on a stars and stripes bikini. One other thing in the ad I did not know, apparently they have free breakfast on Wednesday morning.

I've always hesitated to post that site for fear of breaking some forum rule. After reading DannyDavis's story, I almost posted it here.

As for the details of the attack, for those unfamiliar with the area, especially newbies, realize that the one block area immediately around HK is reasonably safe. As you venture out in certain directions, it can be fairly dangerous. The area where this occurred was just a block or 2 from HK. So I would not discourage anyone from going to Tijuana. But I would strongly advise you to remain within that 1 block unless you know the area well. And remain guarded within that 1 block. Not paranoid, but aware. Do not draw attention to yourself, be smart and you'll likely have the time of your life.

That forum is an absolute must for any newbie visitors and veterans alike. Great information.

Warning.

Someone recently got mugged by a ratero in broad daylight around 1 pm recently. Danny Davis almost got robbed in the Zona on Cohuilla east of Constitucion. More info in the Tijuana Streetwalker section of the Internationalsexguide.info. This could be sign that there is uptick in Ratero muggings again. Just keep your guard up and constantly look to see who is behind you in the Zona.
