These two were picked up last week. It does appear as if the Peoria Police ARE taking down the names of those arrested about a year and a day after the arrest. It seems they have not gotten any guys this month. Another thing I noticed is that they have on more than one occasion posted innocent over a picture, they have not indicated whether the others were found guilt or are just still awaiting justice.

I remember Tracie Gersham. I picked her up a few times the summer after she graduated from HS. She had discovered you do not get to live the life of luxury ith a job in the fast food industry and was out on the street of Peoira to help make ends meet. When I saw her she was not yet into the joys of drugs, looks like those ruined her life. Se was froma town on the other side of the river and had a number for her. Met up a few times and then was told by her grnadmother that she was going to be getting married soon and was no longer looking for Mr. Right. Thought she had retired since I never saw her again.Have some pics of her but she is one of the gals who asked me not to share

This gal is Sandra saw her once a few years ago. She was all upset about the fact that she might soon have to go to prison. Dont recall exactly what for it was for but it was not for drugs or prostitution. Would have liked to have seen her again, but the number she gave me did not work next time I was in town . Guessing she went away to the big house. She only let me take the one pic.

I also just posted a bunch ofpics in the ROckford section of gals who I do not recall a bunch about. Some could be from Peoria so you may want to check and see if you recognize any of them as being from Peoria.

They arrested another young woman on Tuesday. This one is a bit better looking than most of the ones they have been arrested, still not super model quality in my opinion. Pretty soon the police will have arrested all the Sw and then they will have to deal with a rash of jay walking that they have ben keeping away from the media to avoid public panic.

was on Madison last night and NOT one, NOT two, but THREE cop cars rolled past me within the same block! DAMN! Peoria has become a facist police state. I have been in large cities all my life, and I have never seen anything like this.

The Sunday Journal Star had an editorial about how the police harrassed her husband at the HOI fair, and then wouldn't give badge numbers or names. When they tried to file a complaint, they were told, "no badge numbers, no can help". Unbelievable!

How long will the people live under this tyranny?

It is report 86 made on June 2.

Mug shots are generally unflattering but many of these girls are just plaain scary looking. I think I saw some older pics on here taken by guys who had picked the girl up who were of comparable quality to Gresham. That is why I said "who had been caught".

I have been to Peoria several times sense my last report and have come up empty every time. times are getting desperate does anyone have some advise on where to find some fun.

Rereading some old reports I discovered a few pics I had thought I had loaded early last month had not been uploaded. These are the young women who were sentenced to prison in early June. Miss Gersham is the best looking girl I have seen who has been caught in Peoria. Too bad she will be out of action for a long while.

Could be the guys whose pictures had been posted complained. if they had been sentenced to a year in jail for a crime they had NOT been found guilty of I am betting they would be complaining when the year was up and they were not free.

The title says it all.

Quality of girls in Peoria is amazingly low. No guys have been arrsted as of late. If these are the girls out I can understand why.

The police website has now taken down some of the guys picstures arrsted last July.

Checked the Peoira PD website again today. They have NOT taken down pics of guys who were arrested on July 14 2005 so they may be lying about saying they are taken down a year after the date of arrest. I know that will surprise many of you.

This one was arrsted a couple fo days ago. I have come to one of 3 conclusions about Peoria 1) Either gals in Peoria are a lot less attractive than the ones I have seen in other cities. 2) The cops dont put up the pics of the cute ones. 3) Something I read about cops not arresting the cute ones in exchnage for freebies is true.

Shaming johns a year later

PEORIA -- It's been one year since the*Peoria Police Department*jumped head first into a pool of controversy.

Last July, they introduced a website to show the public the men arrested for allegedly soliciting sex.

The names and photos of women accused of prostitution were added a few months later - all to put pressure on those charged with crimes to change their ways.

In the neighborhood where most of the arrests have been made late at night over the past year, there is no shortage of opinions on both sides about whether this website works.*

Margaret Bray has planted roots on Peoria's near northside. She's lived in the same Monroe Street house for the past 34 years.

She says this neighborhood used to be different - and not in a good way.

“Right there,” Bray said. “A whole bunch of them stand there in the corner pick up. I can see them if I sit here constantly about 7 o'clock at nighttime they start it.”*

So what has changed in the year since the Peoria Police Department launched their*website of johns*- intent on shaming those who allegedly solicit prostitutes for sex?

“It feels a lot safer,” Near Northside landlord Greg Smith said.

Smith owns dozens of houses throughout Peoria, including one just a block south of Morton Square Park.

“This area was so heavily a problem with drugs, so that prostitution and everything else was involved,” Smith said. “And now that they've really cracked down on this area for the drugs, the prostitution has decreased.”

By day, there are all kinds of activity going on at the park: Kids shooting hoops, preps for a game of soccer; but some have a different perspective about nighttime - and questions about the website's effectiveness.

“There's still lots of prostitutes walking down, up and down the streets in their little shorts and all that,” Near Northside resident Desiree Moore said.

Said Peoria resident Earl Wells: “If you’re going to stop somebody from crossing the street, they're going to take an alley. You know what I'm saying. You block the alley, they’re going to take a sidewalk.”**

And a man who lives in the neighborhood who didn't want to be identified said he even knows prostitutes who check the website for johns - just to see who is - and who isn't - a police officer.**

“I'm not sure what to say about that,” Peoria Police Chief Steve Settingsgaard said. “The prostitution trade, if you patrol this particular corner regularly, you're going to have regular customers who you trust, and whether they're going to pick up on a face from our website, maybe.”*

Still, Settingsgaard said the shaming site is working - that the eyes on the web, have helped curb the trouble on the street.

“It's died down,” he said. “It's got quiet, and in a way, I almost wish it would get to be controversial again because that's what caused people to look at it, and that really was our disincentive.”**

Settingsgaard said he went to patrol this neighborhood last week, and says he saw one prostitute out - much better than 7 or 8 at this time last year.

He says he never thought the website would fix everything.

They have no plans to take the site down anytime soon.

My question from South Carolina is:

What male in their right mind would wanna do it with these women? Just looking at 'em makes my little head run and hide.

No offense to y'all in Peoria, Illinois. I've been to your fair state and I've seen my fair share of nice lookin ladies, there just ain't them.

Last time I was in Illinois, I picked up a caucasion lady, about 22, at the truckstop at the Marion exit. Took her across the street to a motel and spent a couple of hours with her talking about all sorts of languages, from french all the way to greek. There was a few times she even got a little religious and started shoutin Oh God!

And all it cost me was a tank of gas for her car to get down the road cause she was short on funds, headed back to Nashville for classes at Vandy.

Checked the Peoira PD site this afternoon to see if they reallyare taking donw names once they are a year old. Dont see any older than a year right now.

They did have a trio of new hotties who have been arrested this month. Vanessa in particular is a real babe.
