I am not a supporter of what certain governments and international organizations define as human trafficking nor their efforts to stomp it out.

The strokes they use to paint their political campaigns are often broad, misplaced and ingenuous. For instance, the way the scenes in Koganecho and Kawasaki were totally destroyed seems ridiculous when the magnitude of human trafficking that goes on in some African countries (child soldier conscripts, sweat shop workers, real life shackled human beings, etc) is totally ignored. I do not know how they prioritize their mission. All I can tell you is that it does not seem logical or consistent.

I RTFF before I came to DC for work this week.

The fact of the matter is that though they do not fit into your preconceived notion of what a slave looks like, has in their possession or has room to do, these girls cannot come and go as they please. You can say that about almost everyone in the world. The thing to bring home to mamma is this: these women were trafficked.
