Patrons of a Northwest Side massage parlor may have had their visits with prostitutes broadcast over the Internet, police said.

Based on statements from a woman who worked there and the sophistication of computer equipment seized from V.I.P. Salon & Day Spa, police believe sex acts might have been transmitted from small, curtained cubicles onto the Web, said Jefferson Park District Cmdr. Ralph Price.

Officers found tiny cameras mounted in the ceiling of several rooms at V.I.P.

"It's gone beyond just prostitution," Price said. "What you think may be private could be all over the place."

Investigators with the Vice Control Section said they had not heard of any similar computer set-up at other places of prostitution in the city.

"Really, this is kind of unchartered territory for us," said Lt. Paul Kusinski.

Price said the V.I.P. Salon at 4422 N. Milwaukee -- where customers have to be buzzed in -- has been a longtime problem for the neighborhood.

Chicago vice officers have raided the business seven or eight times over the past 18 months, and the city has filed complaints against the business, police said. The landlord of the business also filed a lawsuit in January 2006 seeking to evict the business owner, according to Cook County records.

The owner could not be reached for comment.

I always had a funny feeling in a spa when they had wall mounted mirrors or vents in the ceilings. However, I never in a million years thought about them putting it on the internet.

I thought that, if they did have them, they may have used it for training purposes for the other ladies. LOL.

PSS - The Nubby, I can wholeheartedly recommend one of the many Asian Massage Parlors in DC and the surrounding area if you want to shake hands and get a massage... Be careful how you ask though, massages are actually illegal in DC. Legally, you have to ask for "muscular training" to get one...at least I think, not really sure since I have never asked. Does anybody know? Anyway, I believe there is a thread about them (the Asian Massage Parlors) on this board. If you do a search and I'm sure it will pop up. Anytime we can help, just post away...

Thank you for the tip. I have done my homework and I think I now know how to be safe in this hobby. About the massage, I believe that it's not illegal to seek a massage, but it is illegal to practice massage as a bussiness without a license. However, if you get a massage from an unlicensed practitioner you would not get in trouble (you would not be held responsible for not asking to see their license), the provider would. I think it is obvious that anything that goes beyond just a massage is illegal. But what do we care, we are just law-abiding massage seekers!

Well, I'm still a newb and I need to pointed in the right direction. I looked through 10 pages of this board and the only massage parlor I found was "Sun" which ppl say is not closed. Just name a couple parlors pls, I need a rub down bad, the stress is killing me.

Btw, where is this "Sun" spa? or where can I get more info on it?

With the closings of the Virginia spas, I came back to DC and saw Gina at Sun. One of the prettiest faces I've seen, and I honestly believe she may be under thirty unlike 95% of the AMP girls. Late 20's, I'd guess.

Her attitude was pretty sweet. Her body is slim, though she does have a tiny gut. Everything was above average.

I WOULD see her again except now I'm reading posts that Sun is closed.

the last I heard, they moved "offshore" to avoid current labor law compliance as well as tax consequences. Somewhere off the Chesapeake I think but they do move around from time to time.

Also seems there was some talk of "unionization" going around during one of the last weekly kgirls meetings so ownership made the move to keep the girls in line.

I think they went by the name Sun VIP. They apparently tried to reopen in Nov - as they were advertising on CL - but two weeks later, no signs of life.
