It is always good to have a back up story of why your in the area and your story Jacken is the best I have heard to date.
I have not posted for a long while do to the fact I got busted two months, or so, for just talking to a WSW. So I have not been out since then and I do miss the mongering. I had a good story of why I was in the area but the officer still issued me a ticket and in the end the cost out weights the benefits. So I am now relegated to reading the fine reports given by you fine local mongers. keep up the good work and please be safe out there.

I can confirm Dude's report, LE is in full enforce mode today ( typical for 2 weeks to elections). I too was pulled over for “looking suspicious”. Personally I think I was racially profiled since I was the only white guy in a BMW in the area. Anyway, I have a great excuse that got me off scott-free.

Officer: (Visibly stunned) Oh….. um……sorry, it’s right up the street where the El turns. Be safe…..(handing me back my ID and papers)

And off I went, laughing the whole way home. Moral of the story, claim to be gay and lost, and hope the officer has had sensitivity training (or a camera in his car).

Naturally I can’t tell this story to my friends; so you kind folks are the next best thing. I thank you all for letting my share it here, and for all your posts over the last 5 years I have been reading. It’s kept me out of some real trouble, hopefully this one will save you someday.

Out for another stroll on a Saturday night. Saw a few WSW walking about. Picked up one off the K near the car dealer, didn't get her name. I drove up and down the K Wed, Thu and Fri at the 6 PM hour, and there was NO excess marked police car presence. Kate was at her DD post all three days, and there were fewer than the usual WSWs between York and Torresdale. What does this mean? Well, the weather has sucked, so the lack of providers might be due to that. But I wouldn't rule out an increase in unmarked car LE presence. I didn't attempt a pickup of those few SWs I saw, and frankly I have decided just to do surveillance for a couple of weeks. As someone suggested here, the best strategy is to get out those phone numbers you've been saving and meet somewhere off the Avenue, or else get out of your car and make a similar arrangement if you see someone you like.

Like Dark Phoenix I am curious to hear any other reports about the current LE situation on K. My thanks to those mongers (Dude0078, Jacken, and Davey1965) who provided an early heads-up on this developing situation. I'm sure they saved more than a few of us from some inconvenience or embarrassment at the very least. That kind of posting is every bit as valuable as clueing us in on the latest SW find. Much appreciated. Personally I'm thinking I'll look elsewhere for action for the next week or so. Broadway here I come.

This is a delayed report based on earlier in October. Sorry for the delay in posting. Found Selina (Celine? ) standing at DD about 10 pm. Tall, a bit skiddish, said she had a fight with her BF who took the car keys and she was upset and needed to get out for a while. Needed a ride back to where she lived. It is always better to be safe then sorry. If you feel it’s a good idea to go inside a girl location, by all mean, check it out before settling down. The same goes for car dating. As for carrying a gun? Don’t do it. Unless you are trained to handle yourself with a weapon, don’t carry one. I myself am an ex-military type and I don’t carry a weapon on the streets. I have known and heard of to many amateurs who have gotten into real bad situation because they where carrying a gun. Thank about it. So you blow away some ****** boyfriend in her house or worst, a drug house. Now you’ve got to explain things to the law, you family and friends. Plus, you’ve got to prove that it was a legal shoot. Your best bet is to keep yourself alert and out of that type of situation. If you feel that strongly about being setup, try another hobby.

His advice is still good if you were thinking in the mindset of protecting yourself (which you are not). When I go out anywhere I usually carry a firearm (at least one, if not two) and have a concealed permit for almost every state I have mongered in with the exception of Maryland (almost impossible to get) and New York (I have never been a resident of that state and they don't offer non-resident permits). Whenever I have gone to a woman's home I sweep and clear with my finger hovering near the trigger and the gun concealed and close to the body, yet pointed in a way that I could make a decent shot. Hell, the noise alone would be enough for me to get away.

Sometimes, depending on the woman's attitude and speech, when I am in the car asking her if there will be any trouble when we go inside I will show her my weapon and loaded cartridges. Her response and body language always tells me if there will be any trouble inside.

The times I have been in a place where I could not legally carry my firearm or the situation called for improvisation for some reason, I also have pepper spray/mace, ready to shoot. My vehicle always has 2 small bottles of it stashed. I have experienced its effects so I generally will take the fogger type, since I will keep my senses and be able to get the fuck out of the situation even while everyone near me is choking and crying.

Checking the rooms allows me to pre-empt any possible attack on me and it also eliminates surprises. Once we start getting busy, certain noises will alert me that someone has entered the home. If I don't check out the rooms I might be left wondering if it is the woman's harmless roommate or her buddy coming to rob me. Check the rooms, even if you don't have a weapon. Better to know what is coming than to get caught with your pants down. Given that some of these criminals have been to prison, do you really want to be caught and surrounded with your pants down? Who knows what else they might decide to take from you.
