I finally got around to checking this place out and what a let down!

It was around midnight or so I think last Friday night and on the way home from being out with some friends I finally decided to stop in. I blew right past the "private club" written on the door. When I went in it was COMPLETELY empty. Only one old korean lady sitting playing a video poker game. I said hello and she replied with "nobody here". It did look completely empty although I'm not sure who coulda been in the back. I said I was just looking for a drink and she was completely uninterested in getting me one so I just walked out. I normally would maybe scratch the surface a bit more but I just got the impression there was nothing to be had that night. With a name like Shady Lady I expected to be bum rushed by half-naked asian beauties when I walked in. Take this report FWIW and maybe check it out yourself and see if you get a different experience. Far as I can tell its one of the few Korean Bars left in town.

I did a quick internet search and the two reviews for it on Ye / p lead me to believe it's legit. On guy specifically talks about about no barflys looking for drinks. Guess the search for the Korean ladies continues.

Seems like they are all closed EXCEPT for one in the Square. I drove passed by around 9:00 pm and it was opened but also saw a undercover cop in a truck outside the place with those lights inside the windshield of the truck. Seemed and looked like a sting to me. There is a AMP on Bragg boulevard which is pretty good, the usual with a tip flip for additional service. Ask for Annie, she's really good, if she's still there. This was all last week.

I understand and enjoy the joys of a cougar and particularly asiain cougars, but what I saw only qualified as a cougar by age. They are definitely lacking in the looks and body departments. They look 'rode hard and put away wet'.

Definitely staying out of the places until some promising reports come through.

Knockers may as well close as well.

Overall I would say don't fall victim to the drink hustles and other bullshit.

I can't remember the name. Regulars may disagree with me, but basically they are all the same. Like I said it depends on the time of day, how busy they are, and the girl.

One of the regulars in Mickeys says the secret is to carry about 30 to 40 one dollar bills because you will never get any change back. I find them way over-priced and the $10 drink is some juice; later she will say she wants a double at twenty dollars. Although I have heard some people have great success. If you have been to Korean and can speak some language, you can point out prices there are minimal with younger girls. The successful ones usually have done a tour of duty in Korean and know the deal. You are not alone in our rip off. I was at. 8 spent already and I touched the girls leg and got,"We got people here that will beat your ass." Obviously I left then.
