First and foremost I must think meatman for the advice and inspiration.

I was really lucky that the back page provider I was trying to meet up with flaked out. Gave me an opportunity to take advantage of the Raven. From previous stories and reviews I was expecting a big girl. Nah, that's not her, but she's on the Raven all day and everyday. She's either looking for someguy for weed or mollies and she's willing to give a BJ for it. A bit of a kook also, just my opinion. I just stay away from her...and "oh so NOT lovely".

I never would have known this existed if I hadn't read this forum.

CB. I would guess this is where most of the action happens. Like MeatMan says, there's a ton of gay guys and trannies trying to get with straight guys. At first, I was not good at recognizing tranny voices and would end up listening to their whole message before they disclosed their status at the end. Now I can tell almost right away and can instantly skip them. Anyway, there's usually at least a few real females on the line. Most claim to be looking only for conversation, while others are very direct about hooking up for compensation.

Personals. I'm not sure how fruitful this is. It might be good, it might not. You can hear the same ads sometimes for weeks and it's hard to tell which ones are active. I never had a response in this section, though. Overall the content is similar to CB, but with (seemingly) fewer gays / transexuals.

Bulletin Board. Complete waste of time. You will feel like you have lost several IQ points after listening to the messages on it. This seems to be populated by a regular crowd of wierdos, shut-ins, and others with mental issues. I'm not trying to be mean spirited, but it's a little depressing. The voices all sound like they are in their 30's,40's and 50's and older, and it's non stop arguing, insults and drama. I have no idea what they're talking or arguing about, but it is really petty, junior high calibur stuff. Avoid it.

Live rooms. I don't know if you can find any action in here. I haven't used this much, although some of the conversations you hear are really hilarious. Some of these guys should be comedians, seriously. Most of the people on the line are young african americans. Other times, you here the same older, redneck crowd as on the bulletin board with the same drama and arguing. So, mostly a waste of time unless you are just bored, curious or looking to kill time.

One warning though. I wouldn't send pictures to any girls you meet on here. This evening I was kicking around in the live rooms. I listened to a conversation between a two gay guys who were sending pictures to each other of "random straight guys" from CB. They said that they got these pictures second hand from girls who were regulars on the line. So, watch out. If you send a picture of your junk to a girl, she might give it to her gay friend who will pass it on to all his other friends.

Called the Raven Tuesday night around 10 PM during the snowstorm. As usual, you got your mix of women looking for conversation who themselves lack any meaningful conversation themselves, gay men and trannies.
