Was at Silk last weekend for the first time in a long time and thought it was the best talent I've seen there. Realize though that I'm an older guy who likes curvy gals, especially AAs. No touching in the regular booths, but you touch in the elevated area to the right of the main bar. I think it was 3 songs for $120. Not supposed to touch the titties, but you can get away with it if you're discreet and get the right girl.

Depends on what you mean by "worth it. ".

If you're hoping for extras or OTC, no. I find I can't even get a phone number out of most of the Silk girls. One tipped me off to her OF, but that's the furthest I've gotten.

Still, really good dances with hot ladies can be had. The statement about there being at least one or two 8-10's there on any given night is about right.

There's a busty brunette that only works occasionally and on weeknights that's one of my favorites in the Midwest at the moment. The one with the OF is of similar build and also outstanding. There's a third with dirty blonde hair that likes to wear schoolgirl outfits who's often there, too. Her attitude isn't as fun and playful as the other two, though.

Yes, they do still allow customers and dancers into the smoking area. Never been out there, though, as I don't smoke.

Haven't been to Silk Madison (or any Silk location) for years mostly due to their strict rules and desire to force any real contact into a VIP room or higher cost dance option. I've done a few 15/30 minute rooms in Milwaukee but never in Madison.

Might be due to hit a casino jackpot (2 k - 5 k typically) based on my historical timeline trend over the years. Is the any sold 9's who are very friendly worth it at the club now?

Does the club still allow customers to go outside & smoke with the dancers.

So, I went to the club on Saturday. Here is a basic review.

1) the club has 2 or 3 at a time who were 10's. That means great body, some shape, and no baby marks. There were about 6 who I clarify as a 5-7 with variations due to acne, love handles, or baby marks. Basically, normal girls you would not be afraid to take home. Not fantasy material. There were another 5 who were pure awful.

2) lap dances in the back room are $25 for one song. Songs are about 3 min. Sadly they never played Bohemian Rhapsody LOL.

3) they did run an amazing special. During the promo, they were giving away two dances and a t-shirt for $50. Hopefully you can catch my sarcasm about the special. You would think they would do something like two for $40. Not sure anyone really cares to have the T-shirt so it's not really that big of an incentive.

4) drinks are obviously inflated. I believe it was $8 for a single Captain and Coke.

It's a fun place to go and just blow a hundred bucks. I don't think it's the greatest strip club I've ever been to but not the worst either.

Silk Madison does have some solid talent. Not all of it, but some. It pulls from a wide geographic area, including western Wisconsin. One dancer claims to come up from Chicago, which I think is kinda silly given the options there, but everyone has their reasons. A couple dancers have mentioned coming from Baraboo and Platteville. As the most upscale option in a region without a lot of them, it makes sense that dancers who can make some money will make the drive.

The biggest problem with Silk is the only place I've been to that enforces more draconian rules is Nashville. If your hands don't stay at your sides during $25 dances, the dancer or a bouncer will let you know quickly. Maybe you can get away with grabbing her ankles if she faces you while she's grinding on you, but that's all. Even just putting your hands on her back or shoulders will get a comment. That's why I lean toward the 3/$125 room teaser, where they allow more contact. Yes, the dance price goes up to about $42, but I'll pay that much to not have to sit there like a dead fish.

The only plusses to the promo are the girls have to circulate and you get to see the full night's roster in the stage walk. Silk girls tend to glom onto one customer for a while, go outside to smoke or sit at the bar and not hustle dances. If there's a girl you've been eyeing, but she's been occupied the whole night, promo is the best time to make your move, if she doesn't approach first. Plus, the girl would far rather do the promo than go back on stage with all the other girls for two songs. In the past, I think there was even a fine for girls who failed to sell at least one promo in a night. There's no discount to the promo for us customers and I never take the shirt. But it serves a purpose. Also, if there's not any talent catching my eye with the stage walk, it's a great time to leave.

Every strip club's drink prices are inflated. If you're out to get drunk cheaply, go to State Street.

There are a couple dancers that make Silk worth the trip for me sometimes. The rules are the only major detriment.

I went for the first time a few weeks ago. It was a Friday night. The talent only inspired me to finish my beer quickly and leave. Looked like the hottest ladies were the bartenders.

I've had better experiences at Cruisin' Chubbys and Wisconsin Dolls. Better talent.

I understand Chubbies has way better talent. I've been there when it's packed and tons of hot strippers, but the downside is the lap dance area doesn't feel private at all. It's downstairs, too bright, and the bouncers are always walking around looking in the booth. Anyone have better lap dance experiences there, please let me know. Or is there a legit VIP room without cameras? I doubt it.

How is The Boxx Office these days? I'm going there in a few weeks because I'll be in the Dells for a golf trip. I was there when it was called Paradise City years ago, and the champagne was $100 for 30 minutes. It was a very private booth, no cameras. Extras were offered the first time I did VIP, like 150 for FS, but I didn't partake. This time I'm going there with some cash and hoping to make it happen.

Hopefully, Club Bristol & Boxxx Office can last for several more years with their current pricing & rules. These are the only clubs in Wisconsin I can get good VIPs at a reasonable rate. OTB is way too expensive & even Vegas Club recently raised their rates quite a lot.

I'd hope Silk could get busted for all the shit the ownership does & this other company that now owns Isabella Queen & Show Palace would go out of business to drive strippers to these clubs.

The talent is very hit & miss.

For those reasonable expectations, Bristol may fit the bill nicely. Occasionally a gem, but normally lots of 4-7's, friendly if you're decent, buy them a drink, a well placed tip. Still $20 laps and $75 (I think) half hour champagne, albeit in shoddy conditions.

There's still decent value to be had at Bristol now and again. It's worth the trip occasionally.

Just remember that they're still closing at midnight nowadays due to the issues they've had the past few years. So if you're planning a night trip, just be aware.

Is Bristol better during the week on day shift say a Friday day versus Saturday?

My work has me heading south, so I can't really make it during the week unless I take a day off. Saturday's have been really hit or miss.

It seems $20 lap dances & $100 30 min rooms may be near extinct so might as well enjoy while its still available.

The last time I did Bristol on a Saturday night was pre-pandemic. Not sure how the talent now compares to the talent then.

I'd get frustrated by my trips to Bristol on Saturdays back when I'd go occasionally. There were more girls, but the range of talent felt roughly equivalent to the day talent, and there was always more competition for what good talent there was, so empty trips were often the norm. I'm often busy Saturday nights now, and rarely in that part of the world, so by the time I'd make the trip, the place would probably be near closing. Not usually worth it for me.

I'd say it's probably a little better during the week, only because it's easier to get who & what you want.

What is the cover charge in the afternoons nowadays?

They didn't have anyone at the door. Just walked right in.

I wasn't sure if the metal detector was on or not, so I made a point to drop my keys on the counter as I went through. If someone wanted to stop me, I wasn't being stealthy. So my guess is no cover.
