This is going to be a weird post, and I have to maintain some confidentiality. By way of background, many of you know I have three "jobs". (1) My day job is in finance, raising capital, investing, etc, relatively large corporate deals. (2) the Massage Parlor with Mei, (3) I do pro-bono business consulting for folks that want to start their own businesses. I do it for the good Karma.

So I get a consulting request today and had a half hour phone conversation. My new client, a woman, wants to open a strip club in Chicago. It will be fully legal compliant. Alcohol. And the main goal is to attract better talent by giving the girls a better deal than they usually get. So my task now is to put together a capital plan, site strategy, operating plan, capital-raising, find talent, and find customers. I'll be interested in hearing your input and ideas. Strictly legal. Strictly business. My role here is a business advisor, not a monger. My thought is what better way to fix the lousy state of Strip Clubs in Chicago than to listen to the customers.

I don't know about others but I have no interest in the "high end" clubs with expensive drinks and Hot girls that you can only look but not touch. Just my opinion.

When I was younger (back in the 90's) I went to the places on Mannheim Rd in Stone Park. Most of the clubs weren't really strip clubs. They were dive bars who had girls do these "fashion shows". For like a few hours during lunch and at night they would model lingerie or a bikini and you'd give them a buck, I think they would go around the room and give everyone a 15 second lap dance and you'd give them another dollar. Some of the women were okay looking some weren't. Scores is a typical strip club, but from what I read it's overpriced and very expensive. Not worth it. I wrote in an earlier post Mannheim Rd is not the best area- so I avoid it.

Heavenly Bodies is a little better. It used to be really good, but they raised their cover charge and their talent has gone downhill so I rarely go now. It sounds like I'm not the only one- the place has lost a lot of regulars like me since they doubled their cover charge. Some of the women who used to work there were incredible looking, but unfortunately a lot of them have left. It's a bikini club- the women walk around in bikinis and g-strings. You can get topless lap dances. Some gals give great lap dances others don't. You can't grab their ass or tits otherwise you'll get kicked out. You also can't wear athletic shorts or hats- they have dress code restrictions. Not a big deal, but something to keep in mind if you go.

I've never been to the place in McCook, but I doubt it's any good. Chicago strip clubs pretty much suck.

Avoid the Admiral. The place is a total rip off. It's good to go there once to check it out to see what it's like. I went here once and haven't been back since.

The first strip club I ever went to once I became of legal age was the Admiral. At the time I thought it was the best club ever. But what the hell did I know since I had nothing to compare it to. But as I've gotten older I've moved away from the big venues like The Admiral in favor for smaller venues particularly in NWI. There's just way to much going on in the big clubs and the prices are ridiculous because you're in the city. I much prefer the smaller venues like IS or Fantasy or some of the others in NWI and the southern suburbs because it's more intimate and you can come in and have a drink and just relax. Plus the prices are better. Your dollar will go farther in NWI than Chicago. And if you're looking for some side action that can be had as well. That's much more my style now as I'm getting older

From your description, You were at the Show Palace. They have the small dance booths. Vegas Club has a back room for dances. The AA girls at both of these places can be had for takeout without really putting in a lot of effort. They are pretty straight forward about it.
